I've ridden Demon Drop at CP in the night and it was really cool. I've also ridden Drop Zone at PKI in the dark and it was awesome, but I think I actually like the daytime better on that one for some reason.

All freefall rides are cool in the dark. It would be sweet if it was pitch black when you went on a freefall ride.

Real FREEFALL at night is incredible. I don't mean the rides that simulate a skydive but an actual nightime skydive. I've done it 10 times, including formations. You take two cars and light up an X in the field for landing. Try falling 60 seconds in the dark over a lit up town. These rides don't even come close.

Yeah, you but you have a much higher chance of living on these freefalls at theme parks.

The night drops are great on these rides, but another thrill (which I guess you can do @ night to) is to take your shoes off and watch them during the whole ride. When you drop, it is great watching them come @ you and shows you how high you really are.

Most free fall rides are fun, day or night, but tall drop rides are even more fun at night because you can see the whole park light up.

I think that the ONLY S & S rides that you can look down on are SFMM's "Thrill Shot" ? & Cedar Point's new VertiGo. Check out this link & you'll see what I mean - http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/ins...tigo/index.cfm

I looked down on Power Tower when I rode it. It probably also helps that I'm 6'6".

You get more of a "drop sensation" in your stomach when looking down.

I don't think that they have this type of ride @ KBF. As far as I know ONLY Six Flags Magic Mountain in California (Thrill Shot) & Cedar Point in Ohio (VertiGo) have this ride.

Thanks for the correction. That's great !!! you'll LOVE it. It was the scariest & smoothest ride that I've ever ridden. I think the "Big Bang" option (when you flip shortly after launch looking down & stay in that position all the way up & most of the way down) is the best

i went on power tower at CP at about 10:45 at night on the TD side looking at the back of the park it was great with the lights changing coler i loved it
and i went on D-drop at night it was also fun

and at fun town i went on Dragons desent NE tallest ride it even taller then SMros at SFNE
its 220 ft tall and you can see the sea on it the only other tall ride at that park is a 100ft coaster so it towers over the park and its alway a walk on i went on 30 times in one day and still went on everything els it is the best night ride
