New Atlanta Indoor Theme/Water Park

Got this from Screamscape. Looks like Atlanta will be gettng another amusement park. http://themeparks.about.com/od/findu...ndEmpireTP.htm

It looks like its gonna have a few cool looking rides. There is a Vekoma Booster Bike, A Hammerhead Stall coaster, and a inverted water coaster.

For the water park, it looked like they will have a uphill water coaster, wave pool, FlowRider surfing attraction, lazy river, tube slides, body slides, and interactive water play center.

Their site looks like it was put together by a middle schooler. I can't believe that this is an actual project.

Lots of graphic of the proposed rides here. At least the coasters.

I would have to agree there site does not look that great. Also the first two roller coaster on the theme park page look like they were created with Roller Coaster Tycoon.

Well they came from www.vekoma.com

And it looks like they already cleared land for it. http://funworldresort.com/themeparknews.htm

Wonder what kind of discount they got for buying the Vecoma medium package.

One the good side of things. At least it should be a year round park if its indoors. So does that mean all the rides including coasters are inside.

Speaking of RCT, I've seen people make better websites for their parks on the game then they have for this multi million dollar enterprise. I just can't get over how horribly unprofessional it looks.

^But they're new Vekoma rides that don't suck. They have better shaping and are heartlined, as least as far as the Booster Bike and Roller Skater go. The Hammerhead Stall should be cool too.

Look at this:

(5/7/07) Digging a little deeper into the Grand Empire project, it seems like everything is on track and on the level right now for this project, which I’m told should be themed to a level unseen outside of a Disney theme park. While true construction has yet to be finalized and begin, the site is being cleared right now it seems. Screamscape has also confirmed that the indoor amusement park is being designed by Gary Goddard Entertainment and the creation of the indoor waterpark has been handed to Great Waves Inc.
