Disney Park in Hawaii for 2011

This was said on FoxNews sat. Disney will be building a resort in Hawaii expected to open in 2011. Was said to be the 1st park to go without Mickey Mouse. Cost to buy the land is 144 million dollars and will be build on 34 acres.

A "Resort" and a "Park" are two completely different things.

This is not a Park at all. It is just going to be a resort hotel complex.

Since it Did say that There would be no Magic Kingdom. I think it could turn out to be an updated version of Typhoon Lagoon at Walt Disney World with some new rides and attractions. Just A Guess.

It's not a park, it's a tropical hotel with waterslides, just like in the carribbean.

Yea, its basically going to be like a Disney's Hilton Head or a Disney's Vero Beach. Just another way for DVC members to use their points and go visit a new place. This should be taken out of "construction" and have the title changed, because its very misleading. It is no way at all a park...
