''Cobra'' - New Ride Tek inverted for Tivoli Friheden

The small and not that known danish park Tivoli Friheden is getting the worlds frist ride from the new company, Ride Tek Engineering s.r.l. in italy, this season, if you didnt knew it.

The new coaster is a inverted coaster with 3 inversions, first a immelmamm, and than a cobra roll.

Its not very long, only about 400 meters long, or 1312 feet, but it have a nice and cool design, nice colors, nice location, and is the first fullcirlet inverted coaster in denmark.

The coaster was planned to open on opening day, but as it is a new company, theirs first ride, and so many others things, it have been delayed about a month now.
First it was delayed about two weeks and was going to open in the end of aprill, but now its first going to open in the middle of may.

They have sat it up down at the factury in italy, and they started to test it last monday(the 14th of aprill), and when they are done testing it and making sure everything works, they will paint it(orange track, dark grey/black supports), and send it to aarhus(the city where Tivoli Friheden is located in) on the train, where they will set it up.

In the park they are just waiting on the arrivel of the coaster from italy, as the constructionsite is ready and done. All the footers is done, and the massive noise-wall is up and done, all the landscaping is pretty much done(as far as they can until the coaster is up), the entry to the station is build, so yeah, the only thing they are waiting on is the coaster itself from italy.

I've been at the park in the off-season a few times to get construction updates, and i will continue to do so when the coaster is arriving, hopefully something next week.

The following is the links to the updates i've done so far... Enjoy

I think I saw a pic of this company's display at IAAPA or whatever the amusment convention is called. I wish them luck with gaining a good reputation in the future. I think I saw some pics of signs of their first install a couple weeks ago. I was surprised. So far I think I'd be more excited about this design than a SLC. I'd rather have those more traditional looking proven inversions that came from the 90's.
