Demon Drop - Dorney Park 2010

I believe ACE's Eastcoaster Conference was scheduled for today in the Allentown, PA area. Closer to Philadelphia there is a giant snowstorm today that has locked up the area. The event has traditionally led to a tour the Friday before of Dorney Park. It was revealed yesterday that the Krazy Cars building was finally demolished to provide room for Demon Drop. The ground generally has not been broken yet for the building of Demon Drop but it is definitely being cleared leading up to it. Newly painted pieces of the ride were found. They are generally the same color as before, described as being the color of the Possessed coaster supports. I'm disappointed. I guessed Cedar Fair would use their McDonald's color scheme in the rebirth of their old ride.

XD I love that shirt. I've never been to Cedar Point or Dorney and I want that shirt,haha. I wonder if it's made out of Pop bottles? I've seen shirts at Walmart that were made from recycled coke bottles. I thought it was pretty neat. I'm sure a lot of the G.P. won't get the real meaning of "We Recycle"

lol. That shirt is hilarious. You know if the general public did understand the pun to the joke, I bet Dorney Park could really market it and sell it. Too bad only us coaster nuts truly do get it though. Speaking of recycled stuff, did Dorney Park tame Possessed speed when it got there? It seemed to run a lot faster when it was in Ohio as opposed to in Pennsylvania.

I'm pretty sure that shirt is for the recycling promotion they have going on right now and not just because it is funny to the people in the "roller coaster world"

You'll be the first to know too soon. i think it's just a matter of finishing the sidewalk ramps and station for Demon Drop.

Finally on a Dorney radio commercial they acknowledged the ride will debut at Dorney this weekend.
