Universal Orlando Waterpark

There is a rumor about a new Universal waterpark that may be built on Universal property by the Royal Pacific hotel here: http://www.screamscape.com/html/universal_orlando.html
I've been getting passes to Universal since the first day of soft opening and it would be really nice to have a waterpark to cool off in. I know some of those days can get hot when Dudley and Popeye are crowded.

This is definitely a possibility. Universal has a ton of land to build on. I would love to see this because Universal is great at theming and a waterpark with some great themed slides would be perfect to compete with Disney.

There are no waterparks in the Magic Kingdom. There are three waterparks on Walt Disney World property however.

I think he was referring to the Splash Mountain log flume ride. At least that is the only really well themed water ride in MK. But the water park would have to be wonderfully themed in order to compete with the spectacularlly themed Blizzard beach.
