DCA to get Chute-to-Chutes

I've recently heard from my sources that DCA will be getting a chute-to-chutes. The ride is rumored to be themed after Yosemite Falls and that construction will begin around the end of spring. The ride would have a 90 foot drop. It would also be placed in the Golden State Area. I hope this rumor is true. DCA needs to increase their number of rides.

Well this may happen eventually, but not now. They are currently working on TOT for the Hollywood Backlot and the Bug Town kiddie section that will take the place of the Bountiful Meadows or whatever it's called farm area. Luminaria is to start showing soon for the holiday season and BlAst! is to take the place of Steps in Time in the Hyperion next summer. Wolf Gang Puck's restaurant will go unsponsored and will be just a Disney restaurant. Several of the shows have been cut for the remainder of the season due to low crowds, but they are to have new ones for next summer. As for Pooh, work is continuing on the ride. It has slowed a bit due to budget cuts, but the entire inside of the building is now empty.

Why? Because they would theme it better, with the indoor stuff.

I don't know why people always think a park can't build a ride another park down the road has. Example, WDW has splash mountain. Did that stop Sea World from building JTA? No. And both are great rides.

A Chute-to-Chutes ride is a step in the right direction. I still think they'll need a coaster to bring back the enthuesists and get people talking on these boards. Right now, you don't hear any buzz about DCA, it's mostly negative comments.

Yeah, a yosemite themed chute-to-chute would be great. As for coasters go, the best thing would be to build a flying coaster going right over the water in front of paradise peir with fountains and stuff. Unfortunately, i know this will NEVER happen.

It's times like this I wonder why Disney would make a fantasy coaster game (Ultimate Ride) when they have zero thrill rides in the first place. Ah well....
