| New Intamin Coaster
Ok this will sound a little off the wall, but we need something different .According to my science teacher (who takes class trips to CP every year) said that he was talking to a designer of MF. He said that the man (who was nameless and company-less, but I assume Intamin) was working on a new coaster. It would be 400 feet in height but only 200ft above ground. The rest would be in a tunnel. When I said the engineering would be VERY hard my teacher responded "I know, and the guy said it would have to be in a special place". I dont know what to make of it, and I dont really believe it.

ok, 400 ft high but only 200 ft above ground? That sounds like 200 ft are BELOW ground, which is pretty far. Can we say IMPOSSIBLE?

That has to be impossible...but I guess never say never. Even though it'll never happen lol. 200 ft underground?

It could happen PR and AP are a lot shorter than teir drops. They drop of cliffs. How far underground, does Oblivion verically drop? It could happen, maybe not 200 ft under, but maybe something smaller.

I'm getting the shovel, and it's not to dig a 200 foot hole!

Name a cliff that a ride at Cedar Point can use to drop off. And 200ft would probably not go well with Ohio. sounds very impossible to me. |

200 feet in the ground. I bet that's going to happen. Im just sure of it. Beside the fact that no earth mover could get the dirt up from a 200 foot ditch, i know it will happen.

you guys just gotta use your head. he said that it will be 200 feet above ground. they can raise a small piece of the land 200 feet high, then build the coaster 200 feet higher than that. the coaster will be 200 feet above the ground and if it drops all the way, it will have a drop of 400 feet. altho it will never happen its just something to think about.

Well SFMM is the only park I know of that's capable of doing something like this. I they build up on top of the mountain then have the lift hill another 300 to 350+ feet they could easliy obtain a 450+ foot drop especially if they tunnel down the drop could be just sicking lol Superman TE is on top of the mountain and the whole structure is 415 feet tall, just imagin if they turned S:TE into a TA2K imagin the drop on that lol. So IMO SFMM is capable of have a coaster with a drop of 400+ feet easily it they built on top of the mountain. They also could just start from the ground up in the back of the park since they have tons of land and no height limits.
