CP and KBF announcement

As you all know, next week is Thanksgiving. I've recently heard from my sources that Knotts and Cedar Point will make their announcements next week, the same week of Thanksgiving. Also, Cedar Point will be the first to make an announcement and Knotts the day after. Can't wait . This will be a happy Thanksgiving .

I don't believe that Cedar Point will be getting more than one coaster anymore, and it will probably be a cheap one (like a CCI or TA2K, which is opposite of what I said all year, that they would get a Intamin woody and a B&M, but if they do get a B&M and/or Intamin, you heard it from ME first

its confirmed that CP is getting an impulse from intamin. the reason why they didnt get a big money coaster is because an intamin giga is going to knotts this year hopefully. an intamin track has arrived but there are no LIM's there. interesting....., to compete with SFMM there building a giga at Knott's. my money's on it

A giga at Knott's? Interesting. That would be extremely cool. I guess we will just have to wait patiently and see...

Track at Knotts

Intamin track has arrived at Knotts, pictures are at www.twistedrails.com. KBF is my home park and I am really hoping they get a full circuit steel coaster, they already have a great wood in Ghostrider. I am guessing the announcement should be any day now, it is rumored to be some sort of launched steel coaster. The space where they are putting it seems to only be large enogh for some kind of twister layout, I guess we will see as it goes vertical. I have always thought what KBF needed was more full circuit coasters, I would love to see a B&M Invert or Floorless there. SFMM is a great park, and I love the selection of rides there, it's just so far away wheras KBF is only a 30 minute trip from here.

What's been confirmed about this new ride-

- Steel
- Product of Intamin AG
- Circuitous
- Not a hyper, giga, or impulse
- Utilizes a unique catapult mechanism

Wicked Twister is now official, but I'm not sure what's up at KBF. It's nowhere near me, so it's not on the local news. I agree that they deserve a new coaster. It's been a while since they got a steely, if i recall correctly.

Smile

I'm gonna say they'll announce the ride in late December or Febuary. It would have been cool to announce earlier, but i guess they're waiting for Magic Mountains decision.
