Wood Woood WOOOOODDDDDDDD! A senior fan I know, I, and I bet several others believe they should address the need for another wooden coaster despite the corporation's not so great maintenance of them.

Anyway about that shirt. A few years ago SFGADV was selling shirts for Batman The Ride that had a Vekoma SLC silhouette in the background. They have the first B&M BTR clone ever. Of course the general public probably would not care about them, but could we actually trust them if its dependent on shirts for clues?

Is it possible for a small woody to fit where Viper currently sits? I mean, I know it's not going to fit EXACTLY but is that a possiblity? Although it'd be pretty cool to see SFGAdv to put in another ripoff ride and put in a Frisbee 2 years after CP gets theirs. Hey, this could be the ripoff park of the century. LOL j/p. To tell you the truth, I think it'd be a good decision to go with a new woody, they have a lot of steel as it is.

Yeah i was going to post a thread about this but to late lol... Yeah this might be a hint as no one will expect it and will be a surprise and will raise attendence. But I think for Viper's Lot a woodie will not go there a Drop Tower will.

How is that shirt a hint? They have a wooden coaster, and the shirt most likely is advertising that. And Sfgadv will not get a coaster next year, since they just got KK.

To add to this debate....A HIDDEN Woodie would be great....a la Beast, Son Of Beast, etc. A huge wooden coaster that goes off into the wilderness...with a duration of close to 4 minutes...that would be great!!

That's what i'm praying for. A huge terrain woodie back by the lake. they can then have their very own "Raven in the dark" when the turn off all of the lights and you ride through the woods in complete darkness. EDH - it is not advertising RT because it doesn't say RT it sasy Lumber Coaster.

The Six Flags Great Adventure part isn't that big, it's not really advertising the woodies in the park, just woodies in general I think.

^First off your signature is somewhat offensive.......how can you even compare an inanimate object such as a rollercoaster to a human life, even if it is a life coming to an end at the express wishes of the person who once lived it?

Back on topic:SFGRADV probably won't add another coaster for a number of years when they can milk their new 25 million dollar toy for at least 3 years if not more.....also they don't deserve another coaster for a good long while when they've gotten one every time they went to add a ride since Nitro was added in 01.

It's only the start of the season for you guys up there so it's too early to say what if anything they'll get especially when SF absolutely must stop dumping all of their capital into this one park(along with a certain LA & mid western park) & focus soley on bringing their other parks up to standards so as to improve attendance & profits.

If SF goes on this same path with SFGRADV that they did with MM they're just gonna ruin that park when instead they should turn their attention to the remaining parks so as to hopefully save their failing business because if they are unable to save the company there won't even be any SF parks anywhere any more at the rate they're going.

Yea, I was upset with Terry's passing but it's finished essentially now.

Anyways, I agree too that Six Flags should make constant improvements in the other parks of the chain. I think that on SFGADV they are so close to putting the frosting on the cake, the collection could essentially be closest to perfection with an addition of a magnificient woodie.

^Thanks for changing your sig....& yes Terri's passing is upsetting but it's what she wanted in the event that she ever became incapacitated in such a manner, but that can be discussed in a general thread if anyone is up to it.

This is exactly why I posted a picture of that shirt...I knew everyone on the internet would run with the idea SFGAdv is getting a woodie next season.

It's just a shirt people!

I can see sixflags getting a 4-D or a stand up? The 4-D just needs some things figured out and then one we will get.

Well as for our next coaster what about whats going in Viper's Spot can someone answer that?

i'd gues that viper's spot will be filled in with some nice flats... well hopefully. i can see a small wild mouse or spinning coaster going there. and there is always the possibility that it will become an extension of the GK with more Kidde rides or another coaster.

Coaster Enthusiast that I am, I do not see a need for another coaster on the VIPER spot. That corner looked too coastered out for me. With there being two coasters removed from that spot I don't think it has a good aura, funny as it might sound. I'd like to see Rolling Thunder furthered improved and surrounded by more flats. The VIPER corner gives me a sleepy boring feeling. It needs a lot of frontier Wild wild zest if its going to remain Frontier Adventures.

Sorry to bring back this topic. But this wooden coaster has died and also jsut to let you know Sixflags Great Adventure will prob. be getting a SMALL coaster next year to fill in Viper's spot I heard RT opts talk about it and here is what they said.

*will not be tall
*will be large as in area space
*will be for the family
*but didn't say anything about a coaster but most likly will.
