Astroworld 2006 Rumor

Well, as I am rumors editor for COASTER-Net (AKA, our rumors section is ARN&R's entertainment section), I get some crazy rumors and I get some that are possibly legit. This seems to be a good one to discuss about.

'The rumor is that SFAW is receiving a B&M coaster for the 2006 season. I am an employee there and that is what upper management is telling us. It may replace XLR-8 or may be put where Southern Star Ampitheater is. We heard these rumors before, so no telling what will happen.'

My opinion, The probability of XLR-8 being removed... won't be happening, Six Flags has been giving it a little TLC the past few years. 2003 gave XLR-8 a new station and 2004 gave it a fresh and new paint job. Southern Star removal, probable, depends on whether or not the arena is pulling in enough money. If it isn't pulling in money, then look forward to a new coaster
