Valleyfair B&M 2006 or 2007

for all of us, we can leave the WOF thread to the obsessed fanboys and use this thread for arguing about the B&M that's going into valleyfair in either 2006 or 2007...Honestly, they are due for something big.

well anyway, the so-called world of fun fanboys now have proof as they are acquiring a permit from the state of kansas city - check screamscape my friend

its possible that VF could get one too, but...good luck with taht

yes, i guess VF will have to sit another year with no rollercoaster, i was looking at Michigan Adventures Rollercoasters: They Stink!!!!!!! I think Cedar Fair, will give WOF next year, and VF and Michigans adventure in 07. All Michigan Adventure has is like 3 wooden rollercoasters, and only 1 looks good.

I'd take a new waterpark over a rollercoaster for Valleyfair! for next year. We're alright in the coaster department for a couple years...

I think a new waterpark would draw in alot of people...possibly even more than a coaster.

i agree with the first part, but a coaster would draw in a LOT more people. Did you see how many people were at VF when Steel Venom arrived?????????????? If you didn't go let me tell you, there was a TON of people. all by steel venom.

A whole second park would draw whole families, not just a slew of pimple faced teenagers. Regardless of how busy it appeared with Steel Venom opened, a waterpark would do multiple times the amount of business.

^ I agree with that, but they should nuke whitewater country and do something like they did with hurricane harbor...If you really think about it, that would be plenty of room for 3 coasters instead of one, and it would still attract whole familys, btw CF wants VF to rival cedar point. If you're going to post things about WOF in here don't, this is for VF only. I will laugh when all WOF gets is a wild mouse when the better park, VF, get's another whole wing of the park...I'm lauging already...HAHAHA

thats a pretty good idea, take out the waterpark build a new one for 06 or 07 and get a new coaster 07 or 08

and WOF wont get a wild mouse, they got a spinning one last year, from taking out OE WOF needs another major ride, and its going to be a big coaster - also WOF has 0 B&Ms so its about time they get a floorless or invert from them, a standup would be nice too

Not sure how you figure you could get 3 coasters in that space unless they are wild mouse coaster that raced. I'd rather have 1 large quality ride than 3 small pointless ones anyways.

Not sure where you heard that tidbit, but my guess it was the same made up source where you got the "leaked" press release you couldn't prove existed. Cedar Point has become the flagship park of the CF chain. To keep it competitive, they won't start trying to steer VF towards being a national park like CP. They'll continue to invest heavily in CP since that's where the money is and the rest of the parks will continute on the system they've been on. The only guy that may have Cedar Point sized ideas for Valleyfair is the general manager of the park. I applaud him, but it won't happen.

dude everyone knows what MIA has, so you dont need to keep tellin us. And i think Ive said this before: VF wants to and will please the GP. putting in a coaster year after year would please them, but not as much as a whole new park, plus if they build a waterpark first, they will have more money for an even better coaster than if they did that before a coster. The water park/ that are across the midway from there is an awesome place for a coster, but you cant put it in wiht the waterpark where it is.

aRE you serious kid? who would do that? I admire your love for coasters, but your ideas keep getting more and more farfetched.

^I agree with Drewbie

thats what people where saying about a rocket coaster, now look. Thats how people are getting more and more new ideas. It's people like me who think outside the box. We cant keep on living with the same old rollercoasters, some people need to think of new ones. Also, it was ONLY a question.. BY the way i agree with the waterpark, as i said in the VF 2005 season thread.

Inverted wooden coasters have been the "dream" of many on this site for years...

It's a good idea in theory, but supports would be many and the ride experience would make Son of Beast seem like a B&M.
