Well knowing this is half true and half not i guess i am not sure if i can give it the upper hand.

To determan the heigh of a segment on a roller coaster you meashure from the track, vertical untill you reach earth. So by thoese standerd's and if you where strictly techincal about it, this is the worlds tallest rollercoaster.

I think its sad, but if you play by webster's rules this rollercoaster would fall under the deffition of the worlds tallest rollercoaster. 1000ft above the ground.

Also on a side note. Everyone talks about breaking 500ft and 600ft. They also tryed to build a drop off rollercoaster of the side of the Stratosphere. That would of been at least 850ft, if not the full 1000ft. So in my pov, its been tryed. There for its reality.

Thats true in 99 out of 100 cases, but not this one. High Roller is not 1000 feet tall. The coaster may be 1000 feet up in the air, but that doesn't make it that tall. The coaster doesn't start on the ground and make its way up to the top. It starts at the top of the Stratosphere Tower and works it way up.

Well, most of use would agree thats nothing but a kids ride bolted to a roof of a tower.

Besides, if you mesured the 'drop' or at least the highest point to the lowest point of the ride, it would be like 30 feet.

the coaster doesnt even touch the ground so why would it be the tallest? It is the highest elevated rollercoaster.

Not only do I not see the need for this to be in Rumors, but we already are talking about 500 foot coasters (and higher) a little bit ways down. This shall be closed.
