Has anyone noticed that 1 of the 3 webcams for Cedar Point is not in use right now? I remember when they started to build TTD the webcam was mysteriously moved just before the announcement. Could an announcement be comming soon? I forsee an announcement at the beginning of bonus weekends or at the beginning of Halloweekends as next year wont take away from the frightening atmosphere...

Could be but the camera has not worked in a while. I remeber visiting the sate about 5 months ago and it didn't work, Same thing when i visited the site 2-3 weeks ago.

Don't know exactly how much I'm supposed to (and not supposed to say), but I worked at CP for the last couple of months in the Guest Services department, which does all the run-a-round work for the Marketing dept. We're the people who actually conduct the surveys.

Anyways, part of the "MaxAir survey" was finding out if the general public kept up with MaxAir's announcements and construction, with specifics on the webcam feature. Very possible that CP is just now finding out that some people (VERY few) actually did check it out regularly in the off-season. Could be that they're trying to "play it up" this off-season . . . make it a bigger hit than last time.

Who knows . . . I'll tell ya! Marketing people know! LOL. Could be broken for all I know. After all, I was just part of the GS crew. Holla-back, GS crew of '05!!!!

I sure hope SFoG puts webcam up for 2006 B&M HYPER! Woo-hoo! Lol.
