As far as I know only one person has died on a Top Scan. A history of killing people would have to mean more than one person.
Top Scans are awesome and they have a 30 person capacity. (6 arms with 5 riders in each arm)

Oh jeez, where will the employees park now? It's bad enough that Zone 4 employees can't park at Gemini lot...

I always thought they should build a top scan with arms on both sides of the gondola. 60 people per cycle, now we're talking!!

As I said in the Valleyfair thread, got word that Cedar Point is getting the same 40-seater Screaming Swing that Valleyfair will be getting, but Cedar Point get's to announce their's first and they get to market theirs as the biggest in the world, even though Valleyfair will have an identical one. Some of the Valleyfair folks are feeling like second class citizens over this, but at least they're getting the ride.

Look for an announcement soon. I'm told construction will be complete and testing will begin in November (for the Valleyfair one anyways).

Whatever cedar point is getting, they are getting something. Check out the blog at the official site..they found the monty and asked him about the 06 plans found in the trash and he kicked them out of his office, however the blog people keep giving very small hints about new attractions for 06/07. I say this blog was made JUST to start the buzz for cedar points future attraction. If CP is getting something for 06 it will not be a coaster, it would probably be more of a screaming swing or something but when those blog people asked about the 06 plans in previos entrys they got an answer saying that it was all part of a larger expansion..im thinking cedar point is bringing out something MASSIVE in 07 and they are getting early construction done such as takeing out WWL. This is just an idea....

Jeez sakes people, do you REALLY have to ponder if the blog is real or not? It couldn't be more obvious... It's NOT A REAL BLOG, IT'S A HYPE-GENERATING COMMERCIAL.

And you just stated the same prediction that has been made by every CP fan on the internet already:

'06 - Screaming Swing & maybe something else, one of which will probably be built between Mine Ride and Snake River Falls.
'07 - Something big; rumors suggest new coaster in Frontiertown - taking the place of Antique Cars and possibly White Water Landing

On thispagecannotbedisplayed someone posted a map of all the current markers and they are very spread out, way to spread out for a screaming swing.

Don't laugh at me but there is something to the "hints" there has to be a reason why they took the picture of the liscense plate of the brat truck. I think I have cracked the code. I08 Intamin 8 inversion coaster! Colossus is a variation of the intamin 8 inversion coaster and with 11 inversions that would give CP one more record they have never had...

Hmmmm, could be. The one thing CP is missing is inversions, so this would definately help them out. Slim chance, but who really knows here anyway.

They should add a racing woodie like Lightning Racer. That would be awesome. Who cares if it would be sort of like Gemini?

Lightning racer is nothing like gemini, I love lightning racer, but cedar point will look at gemini and say we already have a racing coaster. The 10+ inversion coaster would be great.

I know it's not like Gemini, but I meant that that's what CP would think, as you said in your post Magnum.

Today's entry on the CP blog states that something big has arrived on flatbed trucks. Supposedly it is "off limits". Check it out...

Due to recent findings, I think CP is getting a B&M, PM me if you want proof.

Unfortunately that doesn't look like enough to be a coaster. How does the screaming swing come?

Thanks Magnum. They kinda look like B&M Track in some spots. It's not enough now Raser but if it is a coaster i'm sure alot more will be heading in daily.

I have seen Scream Swing supports and unless CP's will have different looking supports this could very well be coaster track.

It's still to early and too few pieces to really tell. Hey Magnum make sure you pass along more pics in the coming weeks/months.

Also if it is a coaster then i'm sure CP will announce something before all track arrives and then go out and uncover whats under that tarp. Could it be, Coaster in 2006 & 2007?

Well, after looking at the pictures they do kind of actually look like B&M track. The only thing I dont see is the shape of rails.
I'm going in a week, maybe I'll try to sneak a peak under the tarp when I'm there and nobody is around.

Well, with VF announcing their Screaming Swing this morning, I guess my source was wrong about CP announcing theirs first. I'd expect them to say something next week though since the rest of the parks have revealed their secrets already.

Wildefyre, if you look at the 9th picture over you can kind of make out a rail, atleast thats what I hope it is.

The worst they can do to somebody that peaks under the tarp is tell them to get out. I don't know if it is a ride or not, hell it may just be supports and stuff for a new bathroom, lol.

AhA! I have found more evidence of this being B&M track. For those who have the pictures look at the 7th picture on the right. When you are there look about 2/3rds the way to the right directly beneath the railing. You will see that a corner of whatever is beneath that tarp has tore a hole in the tarp, that corner slightly sticks out and is silver ish grey and has a hole in it for a bolt. Looks exactly like B&M track for patriot's corner in http://www.rcdb.com/ig3244.htm?picture=2 that picture.

Well, I'll be damned, that does look like a connecting piece for B&M track
