They will build the world's tallest, fastest, and only donkey-themed coaster in the world. It will be dubbed Dingda Da. You heard it here first. But don't get it confused with Gingda Ga, Magic Mountain's 2006 Gorilla-themed launch coaster, which will be very similar in design to Dingda Da, but it will be the world's tallest and fastest gorilla-themed coaster. However, I'm not going to get into the specifics of Gingda Ga cause this isn't the right thread for it.

The last car belonging to each of Dingda Da's two trains will sport a donkey's tail. And of course it's not going to be a real donkey's tail, cause that would rot.

Oh yeah, and before I forget - rumors also point to there being an on-ride soundtrack. Braying donkey calls. But other speculation talk about prior to launch, a loud single donkey honk will be sounded and riders will accelerate out of the corral-themed station. So we'll see.

??? Whatever.

Mr.Freeze, I remember some talk of a large coaster coming for a while now... wasn't it a B&M Hyper rumor or something, I dunno. I've never been to SFSL, but I think a monster coaster could boost attendance a lot in that area. That'd be awesome for ya'll. That's the only thing I'm aware of for SFSL.

(Off-topic . . . we're getting a "gigantic" coaster at SFoG for 06! Woo-hoo!)

The coaster I can imagine SFSTL would be interested in the most would be a floorless, and only if they wanted to rid of Ninja. Aflyer could be nice instead as an additional coaster, but not a necessity at all. SFSTL has a nice well rounded collection of family coasters, looping coasters, and thrill coasters.

Perhaps another flat ride would be in the crystal ball for the future. A power surge is always nice but anything that inverts would be great such as a zamperla hawk.

I could see a floorless such as Superman: Krypton, or a mega B&M which is unlikely. One thing I don't see or WANT to see is a flyer. Long long lines that never shorten, and it will undoubtedly be S:UF clone which I've ridden at SFGAm. Its a good ride, but I don't need or want to see one at SFStl.

About the donkey coaster. We don't have room, and what with all the jackasses running around the place, it would never get built on time.

Well, you're gonna have to deal with it, 'cause Dingda Da will be trotting your way come '06 with a loud bray, so hold on to your horses. Or donkeys. Whatever.

I'm not positive on what it is but Screamin Eagle has been retracking for the last couple years and is still in progress from what I last heard. The cargo crates have been there all summer.

Those crates by Boss have always been there, they sit behind the warehouse, where food, ride parts, and just about anything else you can think of sits. There also has always been a good supply of wood lying around since the park has its own carprentry site, and sometimes has to replace wood on Boss and Eagle.

BTW, I was actually working for the first time in a month on saturday, from 10am till 3:30 or so. Oh yes, Boss being ranked #36 in the world is B.S. I got back from a trip to Holiday World, and Boss defintly kicked the ass of Raven.
