Camp Snoopy @ MoM Rumors

Screamscape posted some interesting rumors a while ago.
http://www.screamscape.com/html/camp_snoopy.htm

Personally, I don't think Mighty Axe will be removed. It's one of their most popular rides, and, IMO, one of their best. For your convenience and mine, I've written up a list of rides that may be headed for the chopper. These rides would leave enough room for a launch tower.

Treetop Tumbler
Screamin' Yellow Eagle
Snoopy Bounce*
Bumpers

*Snoopy Bounce would make sense if this is, indeed the year that their contract for Peanuts characters runs out.

Also, just a fun fact - many of the logs on Paul Bunyan's Log Chute still say "Knotts Camp Snoopy."

I think it will be removed due to its horrible reliability.

How high is the ceiling in the middle of MOA? It's not that high, is it?

^^In the other thread, I was talking about the launch tower, not Mighty Axe.

As for the ceiling, I'm not sure, but there's enough room for a tower. I think it'd be really cool if the launch took you outside, or at least higher than the ceiling.

I guess "outside" was the wrong word. More like "outside the limits of the immediate ceiling." The part above the roof would be enclosed of the ride would be closed for winter.

sc rumer

The rumor on Screamscape about the launched freefall tower was sent by me. Im not lying. I was told by a worker at the store by the Kite Eating Tree that they will be puting the tower where the water fountains are and have the water fountains around the ride. (even though I didn't believe her on the water part) Still, I think they will make a tower ride.
Also one ride I think they should remove is the Baloon ride, becuase it takes up sooooo much space and its such a lousy ride. I know its a family ride, but I think they should put a nice thrill ride.

^Of course you do because you're 14. Camp Snoopy will always be a family oriented park due to it's location in the mall and it's size limitations. They aren't going through the roof anytime soon, in my opinion, and any tower that would be short enough to fit in the current height would be stupid.

That is not a confirmation. In fact, using Screamscape as official confirmation on anything is alot like using fortune cookies to choose your lottery numbers. They get lucky from time to time, but don't bet the house on it.

lol, thats true, Also Timberland Twister is fairly new still, I think they should wait alittle while before putting a tower or any other big ride.

Isn't Mighty Axe the only ride of its type now that hammerhead is removed from Knotts Berry Farm?

^^Why should they wait a while. The more rides, the better. (As long as they aren't Vekomas)

Because of marketing. Say MOA got 2 rides in the same year, say everybody only comes once for a new ride/s that comes out in the same year. (this is made up, just to let you know) People then would only pay one admission as opposed to when you have Timberland Twister out for a while they come for that, then another ride for a while, those people will come twice instead of once.

That's 8th grade economics for you.

I do think Camp Snoopy makes more money then VF. It's open year round plus its in the Mall of America. I go to the mall atleast once a week, and its always pretty full.
