I thought BPB was limited on space to expand? Where did they find room for a coaster of such magnitude? I'm gonna have to say no to this one...

Oh God. Not another Intamin Rocket.

Exciting news for the UKers! Happy that ya'll are gettin a nice, tall, fast piece of crap.

I'm honestly really sick of the height/speed records, even though it's super-appealing to the GP. C'mon park people, be creative and make a quality coaster. No more one-trick ponies.

Having said all this, I wouldn't mind a piece of crap Intamin Rocket at SFoG, if for no other reason to keep the lines down at other coasters!

This was reported on the UK forums quite some time ago and since then it has been said that this is not going ahead.
Shame really - reports were that it was going to start somewhere in the middle of the park, go straight through the Big One's supports, over the road and the top hat was going to be near or on the beach - that would have been so brilliantly cool!

Its getting a bit scary now at Blackpool, rumors are that quite a few of their older rides are in for the chop next year - and that does include the famous Ark - only time will tell if this is actually true.

OK, number one, INTAMIN ROCKET COASTERS ARE NOT CRAP! I've been on TTD nine times, and it's the best coaster I've ever been on hands down.

Number two, I doubt coasterforce would post this if it wasn't at least a very real possibility. I serious;y doubt it will be 500, but something over 456 could be possible. I doubt it, but I don't think we should disregaurd it. Obviously coasterforce thinks it's in the realm of possibility.

I think you are giving Coaster Force more credit than they should get. Remember, this is the same site that tries to pass opinions off as facts and has stolen photos before. Besides, you can tell the page is old since it says "2005: unknown".

Second, it may be your favorite ride but I (like many others) think they are merely "good". Not great, not spectacular, not something to throw at the top of my list (or anywhere near it lol). Tagging on fairly poor reliability doesn't help.

Ok I read this before and i think i did a thread about it but then i found out its not true. They posted this story in the HUMOUR section of the website http://www.coasterforce.com/info/humour.php

I dont know why the line doesnt work but if you type in coaster force in google you can get into the web site and just try to find the humour section

The title of ths thread makes one believe that it is a fact. It should be fixed to say the MAY be getting it to eliminate any confusion. I don't see this happening though.

But this thread is in the rumours section, so one shouldn't believe it as fact even if the title suggests it!!

The BPB record-breaker has been rumoured for years. The late owner put together a special fund for the project. I really hope it goes ahead as BPB needs to be put back on the map. And if this means demolishing some of the older rides, than so be it (as long as the don't knock down Steeplechase, which is one of the most fun rides I've ever been on).

I really hold no value in Coaster Force, and I can't see why people automatically buy something because they read it online.

This rocket coaster project has been rumored for the last two years, and nothing has happened.

Blackpool is always searching for a way to get a record, I thought they were planned for a 2002-03 400+ ft coaster millennium force style..I remember seeing a picture of it, it was red!?

Why would they paint it red? The Big One is already red.

That wasn't for Black Pool that was supose to be for Heide Park, I'll try to dig up the pic but if you remember Colosso was in the back ground. It was suppose to go in that open spot right next to Colosso but the plans were postponed or cancelled.

I don't know how to upload a pic so heres a link just scroll down alittle
