| Very reliable SFWoA rumors for 2002 and 2003
Ok guys, mark these ones down on your calendar, because I am 99% sure they will all happen. These all come from a very reliable source who wrote an email to a SFWOA site last month. He told what would happen next year and beyond. He also named many minor things that would happen in the next month, and all of these things happened within the last month, so this dude knows wht he is talking about! Ok, here we go: If all goes well, the park will be getting a Morgan hyper next year. The height of the lift hill will be 254 feet, but the drop could be a long as 260 feet. The coaster will contain 4 tunnels and 2 helixes. The theming will be "dark". You guess is as good as mine as to what that could be. Double Loop will be removed at the end of the season and replaced with a B&M Dive Machine. This is very likely to happen this winter, but if it doesn't look for it to happen sometime before 2003. And here is the big one: the writer of the letter said next year's hyper will not be the park's signature ride. Yes folks, a 260 foot hyper not the signature ride. The headlining attraction will come in 2003. You see, Arrow has requested that anyone who wants a 4D coaster must request one 2 years in advance. And you wanna know who is on that list? You got it, SFWOA. Now I know a lot of you will laugh, and most will nto believe me, but the writer of this letter was very "in" with what is happening at the park. It would be in your best interest ot believe him!

I think this sounds possible..ive heard plenty of speculation on the next 4d and WoA makes the most sense....I belive it will be bigger and badder than X..hopefully

WOA should spend some time and money on the overall condition of the park and the layout before building too many new rides. The day I was there the rides were broke down half the day (litterly). But, with the park trying to go head to head with CP, no rumor would surprise me.

that would be the greatest day ever.... i enjoy CP and also love the new SFWoA! I knew it had potential to be a great park, but i agree that they need to look at the overall layout of the park and do something to make it flow smoother.... i think that the WILDLIFE side SHOULD also have some sort of attractions to make one side not so crowded all the time.... they should also hire people to CLEAN THE TRASH there and also a few more mechanics would help. the double loop removal is well appreciated and should be replaced w/ a dive machine..... also... the giga would be awesome to add to their park too. morgan is a decent choice, intamin would be good but doubt it casue of CP being so close.... 4d is a great thought, and a good choice to put the 2nd one over here on the easy coast, where coasters are better! ahah mcl

The Six Flags mess this year of not finishing X and Deja-Vu on time has made most people realize that rides will be finished THE NEXT YEAR after the park says they will be ready.

I don't like that Double Loop thing i liked that ride, it was fun i don't think a B&M Dive Machine will be too good

I like to Double Loop too, but its time may be coming to an end. The ride gets almost no maintnence anymore, it has not been touched all year. This leads me to believe it will be replaced. However, since it is of such historical value they may like take one of the loops and display it somewhere or something.

I didn't know Six Flags theme parks are into Morgan Manufacturing. Usually, their hypercoasters are from Intamin or B&M. I guess they want to try something new. I'm not as excited about the B&M dive machine because I know the ride would probably be super short. A good B&M ride should be long enough to be enjoyed.

| Very reliable SFWoA rumors for 2002 and 2003
Your "very reliable source" was only talking about SFWOA's plans. I don't doubt the validity of your source, however, they couldn't see the future. They CAN'T happen, though. They CAN'T build that coaster because of zoning regulations on the former Sea World side of the park. They PLANNED to tear down the woods arena and put the coaster's station there in its place. But all the residents in that area HATE Six Flags because its noisy and dirty, and it decreases their property value. There are two private homes boxed in by Six Flags' property, and people park in the surrounding neighborhoods because they don't have enough parking lot. When Six Flags tried to get their zoning permit modified to allow them to build rollercoasters and other such attractions on that property, the residents spoke out about it and Six Flags got shot down. Six Flags executives were confident that they WOULD get it modified, but they didn't, and so they won't be building any coasters like the one you spoke of any time soon. WoA has lots of issues, including zoning, the locals, parking, space, park conditions, reputation, and money. They are living in the shadow of Cedar Point, which is cleaner, bigger, more conservative, has more coasters, and is more popular than SFWOA.

RoboBOB, the city of Aurora transferred the amusement certificate over the Funtime, Inc (Six Flags) a couple of days ago. Now they still have to get over the height requirement, but what the transfer shows they are willing to work with the park.

I still seriously doubt that anything will happen with the height limit.

You may be right, but Aurora better have a pretty good reason for not allowing them to build because you know they would be in court if they did not give them permission.

I don't think that they will be that good either, maybe if they added some loops, inversions, and good design it will be good.

Yeah seems like the people in the town dont want this coaster to happen. Saying it will be as close as 300 feet from peoples yards... that might be alittle loud during the night |
