They can get a Euro Fighter and a Drop Tower. It would be cool to see somthing similar to Talon or Silver Bullet. Millennium Force would be way to much money to get, but maybe in a couple of years a morgan hyper.

I agree, it's impractical to get a Millennium Force type of coaster, with the length and huge hill, BUT a big attraction is needed. There needs to be something marketable. Shivering Timbers has been ridden by probably everybody that wants to in Michigan. Can we get a StormRunner? Can we get a Beemer Hyper? How about a flyer? We need something thats marketable, fun, and a reride typer of coaster. That's not impractical. That's smart, and I completely agree with the guy from Holland (i'm from Otsego by the way), that by bringing in something that people will want to ride, will obviously bring more people to your park.

Any of the following are a good idea in my part.

S&S - Drop Tower
S&S - Screamin Swing
Huss - Frisbee
Vekoma - Invertigo
B&M - Invert
Morgan - Hyper
Gerstlauer - Spinning coaster
Gerstlauer - Euro Fighter
Huss - breakdance

Most likely thrill ride would be a screamin swing and a looping coaster.

I could see a smaller sized gerslaughter euro-fighter type ride. I atrongly doubt MA will get anything too much more extravgent then that.

I was hoping they would recieve X-Flight from GL.

They just had a pretty big expansion last year with Grand Rapids. I'll bet that the next addition will be a large flatride.

Of course, with the Geauga lake de-construction they may have a few coasters looking for new homes.

Haha. They might as well just send the park over while they're at it.

A B&M invert wouldn't make much sense for the park at this point.
I don't think Morgan even makes hypers any more. You're only chances at a hyper are Intamin and B&M and there's no way that either one will happen.

I see.

But I still would never be able to imagine a Morgan at MIA. Or any hyper for that matter. It just doesn't make sense.

Why not, It would look sweet across the feld from Shivering Timbers. Theirs a gap bettwen Adventure Falls and grand rapids and theirs plenty of room behind them both and then down the feld for a nice sized morgan.

I agree with steel, there is no way they would get a morgan, just look at cedar fair's recent run of caosters they have installed in their parks, mostly intamin, or B&M. I would much rather see a B&M or intamin than a morgan anyways.

Just like Fastdawg07 said they DESPRATLY need a major attraction to draw new people in. The longer they wait the more people are gonna get bored of the same rides and attendance will eventually drop off

I strongly doubt MA is going to get a B&M coaster personally, or atleast as their next attraction... A beemer is a huge investment that wouldn't particularly make a huge amount of sense for a smaller park like MA I think.

Maybe if they did, they wouldn't be a "smaller park".

They will have to make some big investments to get better attendance, even more if that Main Street USA amusement park gets built.
Screamin Swingin is going to be at MIA, still hoping they will get a NEW CUSTOM looping coaster.

It's not an expensive ride and there has been a trend which CF has been buying these rides for their parks (Knotts, Valleyfair, and Cedar Point).

Any thrill ride welcome

Just getting a new thrill ride, NOT a water ride, would be great, It's been a while for us here in Michigan. Rumor has it a coaster is going in soon, and it is much needed.

2008-2010 - Back Pathway Expansion - Rumor - (6/13/07) A reader visiting Michigan’s Adventure the other day recognized what appeared to be Dick Kinzel and Camille Jourdan-Mark taking a tour behind the Timbertown Railway Station where there were quite a few orange and yellow survey flags marking some new project. Anyone else been by the park and noticed these or happen to get photos?
So they will have something by 2008.

I was their yesterday and no flags or clearings. I dont think they will get a coaster yet. I think some thrill rides and then a coaster. The park is fun but they really do need more flats.

MIA will probably have a frontier trail like cedar point. I can see them having a 2-3 year expansion plan with 1 new thrill ride(Screamin Swing), a show, 1 kiddy ride, 1 family ride, and a looping coaster or a spinning coaster.

They already have family/kiddie rides and now need thrill rides and in a few years get a 4-7 inversion coaster.

But I doubt they would invest the 12 million dollars or more to get something like a B&M or Intamin coaster, something like a Gerslaughter makes much more sense to me. Cedar Fair would be better suited to invest that kind of money into a more proven park... A smaller coaster would benefit the park and be a building block towards being a larger park.

Yes the park is great, but if you go you have to check out the water park. Shivering Timbers is great. The whole atmospher is great. The drive from south bend is about 2 hours 29 mins. Link here

I'm excited for my first visit this summer, I can't wait to finally get a ride on Shivering Timbers.
