New year-round Michigan theme park

Caught this over on TPR. Since this is in the early stages, I thought I'd post in the rumors section.

It sounds kind of interesting and they mention that coasters will be built for the park.

Being from this area originally, I'd love to see a new park here. I do wonder that the harsh winters will affect how many people will patronize such a place.

A former member shown me the link. He said it was northern but it's central if you count the whole state. It's north part of the main southern tip. It's how far from Detriot? I wish them luck in this endeavor.

It's a long way from Detroit. Its in the northern part of the LP...The closest big city is Traverse City, I do believe. Its about 180 miles from Detroit straightline, 130 from Lansing, 120 from GR, and 285 from Chicago.
