I read a very interesting rumor that beginning in 2009 BGE will host a Christmas festival, in the vein of what Silver Dollar City and Dollywood do. It will focus on the old holiday customs and traditions of the various countries showcased within the theme park.

Over the last few years BGE's management has been visiting other parks that have similar events to get ideas for the festival and how to pull it off. Apparently most of the flat rides and roller coasters will operate weather permitting.

If this is in fact true, hopefully the changes that are taking place with AB won't effect the park's plans.

That would be awesome if they did a Christmas event. Busch could really make it amazing.

I believe Colonial Williamsburg already does a Christmas program, would be nice if BGW's fit in with it.

indeed, CW has lovely christmas festivities. Bad summer = no busch gardens for me (and i used to go 10+ times a summer....), growing up sucks. Christmas = another chance?!? i hope so.
