Pete says that all of the time. That doesn't exactly mean we are onto something. It may mean he is considering some of our ideas. Or he is just enjoying watching us spin. haha.

Thanks, I didn't even think about that ,haha. I'll add a signature to fill it up a little.

Let's look at it this way, We come up with different scenerio's some of which are good idea's for DollyWood and some of which are day dreams, but when we say something simular to what they are planning or we say something thats the same thing there planning, then pete comes out and says his lines "interesting topic, Keep it Up" doesen't just make you think we are getting closer than we where before?

My guess is that we are closer than what we where but problaby not there yet, as i said before.......

Think about It!!!

PATIENCE MY FRIENDS!

Let's just look forward to Adventure Mountain and the wonderful year that 2010 will be!

By the way, has anyone else done Skyzip yet? and if so did you all enjoy it?

I have done it a couple of time with friends and I absolutly loved it. I dont know why but Red fox run (line 2) is my favorite. Its not the longest, or the fastest but their is just something about it! It may be because you are basically jumping from the train loop. I mean the launch pad is no more than 200 feet away from the loop, on the other side of the brown fence! lol

Or, you know, he could just be saying, "Interesting Discussion, Keep it up!"... And that's all. It's like watching a magic show and trying to figure out the tricks. Why can't we just let it be?

Anyway, DW's installed a new Dryer. It's next to the Rampage next to the River Cane.
Also, They've also started building a wooden frame for a park sign at the traffic light on Veterans Blvd.

Hey CoasterKid_2006, Why is it so hard for you belive that Dollywood is doing somthing big in 2010, It's there 25th anniversery and just saying the year 2010 has ring to it, Its ok to think dollywood isn't doing anything more than AM. All I ask is that you just stop and think about what DollyWood is capible of doing, As I said before.....

Think About It!!!

I know exactly what they are CAPABLE of doing. But what the ARE doing is just AM. Possibly a new resturaunt or something. I'm not saying that they didn't HAVE something planned for 2010, but with the push back of AM, it messed up their plan. Sorry if I am coming off as a pessimist, I'm just a realist. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to see a new coaster at Dollywood next year, but I just don't see it happening.

Well ya know, with Dollywood, ya just never know........And I mean, AM doesn't really cost that much I mean they could possibly add two new attractions like they did with timber tower, they added it and lumberjack lifts......So ya know, anything is possible.

.......Yea dude I'm totally with you...I mean Dollywood is a great and "sneaky" park...I mean just look what they recently just done....They built SkyZip........Ya just gotta keep your mind open.........Cause they could do anything. CoasterCraze...you're right. Its their 25th anniversary and I'm pretty sure that Dollywood is not just gonna celebrate it with AM, a Parade, and a couple shows....And CoasterCraze, you can call me Greg if ya want

Haha, Pete has us all tore up. It would be great if I was actually right about it. Maybe it could be something related like just a regular wooden coaster from Gravity Group or something. Although I would love to see a coaster built next year, If The Dollywood company decides that 2010 is not the year for another coaster, then I will respect their decision. If they don't then It won't change how much we love Dollywood will it? .

I mean I knew that Mystery Mine was coming Like four or five mounths before they announced to the public!! Lets Look back for a second, do you remember that old buzzerd that they put out before they announced The coaster? Well think of it as there teaser sign for that Coaster!! Well what do you think about it now!!??

You're right, some employees know stuff, others don't...

AM isn't cheap, it wasn't last year either, they kept have to recalculate the budget and it was spiraling out of control, which was why it was delayed...

2010 was supposed to be a big Capital Expenditure year, I am sure, but the delaying of AM messed it all up for awhile.

A lot of my friends that work there don't know anything. So, if they are, they're keeping it quiet...

^^Yeah, me too, Just as long as It's as great as Thunderhead or better. Oh and since we're all learning everyone's names, My name is Shawn. It's easy to remember because It's the first letter in my screen name :P. The last part is my last name obviously. Oh, I was going to say this a long time ago but I watched a video on youtube of the train ride and I saw a huge clearing with a few pieces of machinery down there. At first I thought It was just Wilderness Pass but then I saw River Battle a little later. The clearing seemed too far up to be wilderness Pass. I'm not sure if it was where AM was going or a new clearing. I'll have to watch It again.

Hmm...That's Interesting. That's not even near the train loop. That's like the last large turn before getting to the Timber Canyon Bridge. I have no Idea.

Sand Blast: Creating Dollywood Giant Sculpture is a Monster Job!

Here is a news article about the sandscrafter in the Village for kidsfest. (from knoxnews.com)
http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/jul/03/sand-blast/

His guy is such an amazing artist! This year the scuplture was themed to the Journey to the center of the earth attraction in the imagination cinema.

If you get a chance go by and check it out, it is just infront of the Dollywood Express Depot.

I will be going to Dollywood tomorrow. I will try to bring back some pictures of the AM area and any other interesting things I find.

Dollywoodlover1, I know that you are very excited about new things (believe me I am too) but almost every post from you lately is the same thing just worded differently. Please don't think I am trying to be mean or take away your excitement. Thanks for the video of the train though. Keep up the work finding new info and sharing with everyone!

Pinslashers I will try to get a picture of the sculpture. Thanks for the heads-up of where it will be!
