I was at the AAA Travel & Vacation Show in Columbus yesterday and I noticed that the Beach Waterpark had a booth. I went up the the lady who was running the booth and told her that I really had a good time at the park when we went in 07, and then back for their Holiday Lights Festival last Dec. I filled out some forms for a chance to win some free tickets. I also asked her if she could tell me what they plan to do with the Jet Stream water slide they bought from Wyandot Lake almost 2 years ago. She says they really want to put it up, but they aren't sure if they will have the money yet to do so, esp with the economy now the way it is. She says it will either be the slide or a miniature golf course. She said her vote was for the slide! She said they will know by the end of January what their plans will be. Look for an announcement from The Beach soon.
For those of you who don't know, the Beach Waterpark is directly across from King's Island in Mason, OH. I actually prefer The Beach to Boomerang Bay. It has a lot more laid back and friendly atmosphere. Check it out if you get a chance.

I've actually never been there. I'm hoping to go this summer for the first time ever. It's always been hard to justify going to the Beach when I don't like water slides, and it's an hour trip down there, plus I've got Splash Moraine that's only 20 minutes away. But, I've never been to SM either.
