1) This is just my opinion ok?

2) I look at DollyWood's Splash Country as a Family water park; Now I understand that the park has a few thrilling slides but what I'm saying is this; IF DollyWood's Splash Country keeps on getting thrilling rides they would lose revenue from it. In a nutshell I'm saying this Splash Country is based on the family coming together and having fun. If they want to cater to the thrill seekers they will put them separately throughout the park.

This only based on what I think, and nothing that I've heard, and yes I've heard about a few things that MAY be coming, anyways I hope this helps

I am not getting too many hopes up, lol. Just being positive. I doubt i get to Dollywood or Splash Country till 2011. It would be a great surprise to have a Tornado in 2011 but it won't crush me. Just seems they would have the proven winners is all, thats good business!

I understand, I pretty much was saying that DollyWood's Splash Country is not Wet'n Wild! If you know what I mean?

I understand, to me a Tornado isn't too crazy. The craziest most intense slide I have been on are the two body slides at Carowinds - Screamin's Wombat and Ripsnort Ridge. They are like 80 feet tall, enclosed bodyslides. There are lots of twists. You have to keep your hands behind your neck and after being in it I can see why! I don't think I care to do those again. The Mountain Scream slides at Dollywood where you can cross your arms over your chest are more my speed. They are intense but not such a steep descent. I am proud I got the nerve up to do just one of those Carowinds' body slides but that was enough! A tornado is mild compared to that! At least you are on a 4 person cloverleaf or two person tube not just sliding with your body. I think I like it that Holiday World has no body slides. I prefer using a tube!

I didn't know there was a wet n wild in Greensboro, when I visit my freinds and go to Carowinds maybe I can swing by there too!

Yeah I see what you mean, But I'm more of a Fire tower Falls kind of guy, It's fun,and you arent sick after getting off the slide! I've not been in a while but my fav. is Ragin River Rapids!

That one is intense too but doable for me. My favorites at Splash Country are Wild River Falls and Swift Water Run.

I think the best slides at water parks are body slides. I absolutely loved the body slides you speak of at Carowinds. If I had more time I would have rode them two or three more times. At Dollywood my favorite rides are the enclosed slides on Mountain Scream and the Mountain Twist mat slides. I should note I have not road Big Bear Plunge (to long of line), SwiftWater Run (was not there when I went last) or Fire Tower Falls (was to scared in 07 but will ride it next year!). I prefer the body slides over the rafts. In my opinion that is truly the only thing that Splashin Safari is missing, a good body slide. To be a "family" park you can't just have all "family" slides you've got to have a variety. You need rides like Fire Tower Falls to interest the thrill seekers in the family while the rest enjoy Bear Mountain Fire Tower (or insert name of attraction at other parks).
