| Will a City like Seattle ever get a theme park?
I know this may sound crazy but don't you guys notice or have noticed that their all hardly whatsoever no theme parks in the Northwest!!!!!!!! It's kinda odd ya...i know.. But when will see maybe a Six Flags or a Cedar Fair Company Park like in the great Northwest?

Considering the economy is in shambles and Cedar Fair is carrying over $2 billion in debt (Six Flags had over $2 billion in debt as well before the bankruptcy filing), I'd say not anytime soon. And even after the recession, I'd still say it's very unlikely a park will go into the Seattle area. The weather is not ideal for a major amusement park to operate (Seattle only receives a measly average of 58 days of sun PER year), nor does would it have a significant metro to draw guests from. |

Six Flags owns a theme park outside of Seattle called Enchanted Village. It's comparable to The Great Escape, which isn't too bad, plus they have an S&S wooden coaster, which is pretty rare.
