What is happening to the Wild Escape Park?

I hear that West Virginia is supposed to add a Wild Escape park resort in Wheeling??? Does anyone know more on this?

This has been talked about for years. IMO this won't happen. I don't know where to find more info on it though.

To be honest, I doubt that any more parks will be built in America. We just have so many. The only places that are ever likely to get large parks are AZ and HI, and MAYBE WV. The rest of the states are either saturated with parks or don't have enough people/tourism to be a viable business.

Another Case of Thinking Bigger than They Had to Spend.

The Park Didn't Even Sound Really Cool. An Indoor Theme & Waterpark Park and An Outdoor Theme Park.

If Hard Rock Park Failed, Wild Escape Wouldn't Probably Have Worked Much Better.

I think Charleston, WV would be an okay place for a smaller one. Not really Camden park small but something in between that and a major park but still have room for expansion. But one in wheeling? It would do way better in the central part of the state because you have bridge day and lots of white water rafting travelers in Fayette county and then there's people who come from all over in the winter for Winterplace in Raleigh County and then there's Charleston,WV kinda close to those places so you could get travelers from there also.

I've only seen vague bulletins on the Screamscape about this place. I didn't even know it was planned for Wheeling, I knew WV, until now. Wheeling is not a bad choice given it's within Pittsburgh and Columbus' range.

Um, Las Vegas!? That place is a theme park! A lot to do without spending a dime. But if you do wanna spend some $$$, there's always the NY, NY Roller Coaster, The Desperado @ Buffalo Bill's, and The Canyon Blaster @ Circus Circus. A 4 hour drive to Knott's Berry Farm & the Disneyland Resort. And only 4 and a half hours from SFMM!
