nominations for your thoughts on...

if someone wants a park that hasn't been used on my twice-a-week now your thoughts on... please post it here or private message me.

don't move this to polls, this won't be made into a poll, it's just to nominate parks to use in my thread.

wtf, who cares. this is a stupid post that has no bearing on anything. if someone wants to know how others feel bout a park then let that person ask, why does this kid act like he is in control of asking people's opinions... heh heh what a loser.

I've been doing these things for about a month now, it's just a way to publicly discuss your feelings about a park

if you don't like them, don't use them

If you don't like it, don't read it. I think what he's doing is a good thing. He is in no way controlling others opinions. If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it. OK, back on topic...I would like to see Six Flags Worlds of Adventure.

I've said this before: You should take some of the better Your thoughts on... and submit them as articles to Thrillnet.

Just an idea.

I find that they are pretty interesting threads and a great way to move through the off season until we begin posting about our new experiences. I think Coaster Boy's recommendation to create reviews out of these threads is actually brilliant. I gotta say, I scrounge for reviews before going to a park. Even parks that are well known, like CP, I'd want to see reviews on - just to get a sense of other people experiences. One great example of this would be the old review sections on the old www.rollercoaster.com aka World of Coasters. There were some excellent reviewers in there, most notably Eric Griswold. It would be great to create a place to post and, most importantly, indefintely save reviews.

I remember the old rollercoaster.com, I used to visit it before it got bought out...

I'd definetly submit some of the better reviews into ThrillRide if I knew how to...

I will do one on SFNE, if it gets closed for spam...well that'll be the first out of my series that is

whalom is currently sbno
canobie is too small to have many opinions and I've never even heard of funtown splashtown USA...

here's the current list of parks to do:
Six Flags Worlds of Adventure
Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Busch Gardens Tampa
Universal Studios Hollywoord
Universal Studios Florida
Six Flags: Darien Lake
Six Flags: New England
Lake Compounce
Morey's Piers
Lakemont
Knoebels
Dorney
Six Flags Geat Adventure
Paramount's King's Dominion
Six Flags Astroworld
Hershey
Great Escape
Marineland (Ontario)
Coney Island
Disney/MGM
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Epcot Center

this is in NO order, it'll take a good 3 months or so to get all those done(I'm still taking suggestions though, just don't expect to see them for a while) I'm not doing any parks twice, not now at least(so no Kennywood or IOA)

I wouldn't mind seeing one done on Geagua Lake (known as SFWOA to most enthusiasts).

The reason I call the park by that name is because most of my life, it was known as G.L. This would hold true if Cedar Point was changed to Cedar Fair Sandusky. Just something I am used to and not one for change.

SFWOA is already up on the list, regardless of what you call it it's still the same park

actually i think it would be an interesting descussion...i mean the americans can tell us what they have been told by various media and people and the aussies on the forums can clear things up and let some american and other international ppl know what aussie parks are like

Yes, wouldn't that be great. Spark some life back into the World Wide Coasters/World Wide Parks forums. They haven't been terribly lively as of late.

Feel free to start a topic about anything in International Amusement scene, regarless of where you are from, be it New Zealand or United States! You can ask the wackiest question about the most distant coaster or park, and someone will know the answer. :)

Having said that, lets keep this for strictly USA matters, and the International sections for non-USA stuff. ;party;

SFWOA or maybe holiday world (I don't think that has been done yet) Those two would be pretty good ones IMO.

Holiday World has been done and Six Flags Worlds of Adventure will be done tommorow as that seems to be the most wanted park, it's been nominated 4 or 5 times already
