CP Fast Pass

Okay, I am sure this has been asked before, but I searched and didn't see it so here we go.

How exactly does the Fast Pass system at Cedar Point work? I am going there this summer and if it can get me on TTD once or twice more than I am all for it.

hey i'm actually going in 4 days and if i'm not mistakin the fast passs works like this. You go to the ride you want the fast past on and you get your hand stamped and they tell you when to comeback in which you get into a line that merges with the que line at the station. The catch is yuo can only get one of these a day. After looking around thats how i think it works but don't quote me on it.

you got it. YOu can only have one per day as I found out the hard way while wanting to get my hand stamped for WT while already stamped for MF. You enter the line at the same place everyone else does at your "assigned" block (4-5, 6-7, etc). You bypass many of the zigzags and come to a merge point where 2 CP rideops tactfully and tastefully merge you in. They stamp your hand by cancelling the previous so you cannot re-ride in the same hour, and then the most you wait is 15 minutes.

That's what I experienced on MF. It is a good system...free...and every seat is available, just as if you waited longer.

I believe it is still a ink-like type but not black light sensitive like the re-entry stamps are. You could wash it off. Heck, when I was there 2 years ago, I went for my lunch break at 2pm to the Boathouse...nearby the marina. I went in, had a salad and bevy. About the time I was ready to jet, a nice little rainstorm came through, so I stayed inside and had two more bevys before heading to MF and also waiting for the rides to dry out.

So I would be careful with it possibly washing off.

If you get your handstamped early enough in the day for the fab 3 (WT, TTD, MF) and have an early enough ride time, you could be able to, but I don't know.

So if you wanted to, after you got one stamp, you just wash it off and get another one? It doesn't really seem very effective.

They're kind of hard to wash off once they dry.

but it sounds like the stamps are for riding 2-3 hours later in the day, so i guess if you wanted to you could, but you might only be able to get 2 or 3 at the most depending on how early the first ride is, like CP_Mark said...

Exactly. The time on the stamp is a few hours after you get it. I'm sure you could wash it off if your scrubbed hard enough. I can see it now, people bringing mechanics soap (orange bottle) into the park.
Anyone know the exact time they start giving out the stamps for TTD?

When I went I got a stamp for MF and when I got into the line they marked my stamp with a marker and I just rubbed the marker part off and used the same stamp twice in the time period. So there are ways to fool the system.
I'd also like to know when they start giving out stamps for TTD.

That's weird, Knoxville, cuz when I went, they actually stamped a "cancel" on my timestamp. I think they will start stamping for TTD when the park gets busier. Right now, alot of people are still in school and some will come on fieldtrips or Physics Day. June will be the rush.

Alright!

What if you're there two days??? Do the stamps have a date on them or do they change the color or something???

Just wondering...

I guess they have a different color or you have to wash them off. I only used it one of the days I went and it came off in the shower.

I just thought of something, go back to the hotel, take a shower, and come back to the park and get two more passes.
