La Revolucion opens and other Knott's news...

Knott's KMB Afterburner "Frisbee" style flat-ride recently opened. In addition to that, a new food building opened along with the new midway surrounding the new flat-ride.

Jaguar! is also 90% through with its new paint scheme. Following the footsteps of new color treatment behind Boomerang, Perilous Plunge, Sky Cabin, and Montezooma's Revenge, Jaguar!'s previous red track and baeje support columns are now orange track and blue support columns. La Revolucion looks awesome. Who builds that ride? Maybe CP could get one of those next year, as it looks like fun. Also, I'm like the new paint job on Jaguar. Very nice.

EDIT: I feel stupid, I just re-read your first post "KMG Afterburner" is like the third word lol.

Kraxel, or anyone who has been on one, do they give a similar ride to a frisbee? It seems like it would, only just not as big. Well I don't know about the normal frisbees, since I've only been on a giant one.

That looks aweome..both of them. Ok, I may sound stupid (i've never ridden a giant frisbee or even been near one lol) but exactly how high does it go? Does it actually go over the top, like completly upsidedown? Just curious.

I wonder why they decided to change Jaguar's paint scheme. It does look nice though.

wtluv, the ride's height is 136 ft I believe. It makes it up to around 120*, so not all of the way over, but beyond vertical.

coasterphil -

Most parks "fix" up the area surrounding the debut of a new attraction, so Jaguar! is no exception. Plus, Jaguar!'s 1995 color scheme does not blend in so well with the new colors of La Revolucion and its surrounding plaza and buildings so it does it good by "freshing" up Fiesta Village with bolder and more energetic colors. It also seems fit since the park had already repainted Boomerang, Sky Cabin, Perilous Plunge, Sierra Ferris Wheel, and Montezooma's Revenge.

EDIT : Whoops, thanks coasterphil :)
