Okay folks... who here is all about these, "Buy one full price admission ticket to Magic Mountain and get friend in free with empty Coke can." That is aboput one of the coolest ticket campaigns I've seen a park do. And ohh buddy, do I have a lot of Coke cans. Please post if you agree with my thinking that this is a great deal or if you think you're too good for a free ticket to MM. Thanx!

It would be good, but i dont like paying almost $50 for one person to get into the park at first and getting the second in for free. But if someone has $50 to spend, go for it. I personally prefer the season pass.

Ehhh. I bought my all-SF-parks season pass for $35.00. Cheaper than this Coke can thing, and I've already used it 4 times, my fifth time tomorrow.

That sucks, i have a Season pass but i took my friend about a month ago and could have really used that then.

It's not that big of a deal, well for people that actually think about it. Most Southern California admission discount tickets to Magic Mountain are about $22-$25, and let's get real...no friend is going to jip his bud by playing that last minute "here's my coke can, now can I have my free ticket" trick. It's just wrong. So what they predict is that one individual will pay for a ticket, a can is put down after that, and they both split the ticket 50/50.

Clever isn't it. Those sneaksters. Thought they were giving us a deal... :)

heh....AstroWorld's deal with Coke, Fiesta, and Kroger lets you get half price ($19.99) tickets at Kroger and Fiesta Stores, and Buy one get one free at the gate with any coke product.

Ya man how did you get a season pass for $35??? I was supposed to go to SFGADV soon, but I think my mom threw away my coke can :(. Now I gotta pay full price. I hear a bunch on tv bout hwere I can get discount coupons, but when I go there they say they stopped doing it. ARGGGGG

Depends on where he bought his season pass at. If he bought it at one of those Six Flags parks that are small and in the middle of nowhere, and had a coupon, then it's possible. though I personally spent $53 for each of our SFMM passes.

Also, on the coke can deal, if you don't have a friend with you, SFMM will still let you purchase a half-price ticket with them. In essence, it's 1/2 price admission, not buy one get one free.
