Are FOF & Volcono the only really themed coasters from Paramount. There might be more but thats all i can think of of hand.

I think they are the only ones. But FOF isnt really themed. It is, but not extensivly. Just the line, and the station somewhat, but its a big jump than nothing though, and I'm not complaining! I think its cool though. I like it when all of the lights go out in line. Also, those videos get on my nerves! You see them like 10 times when your standing in line.

The ride itself use be themed. There use to be strobe lights,fog, & music in the dome but for some reason they stopped doing that

Wow, they are. Thanks [B]Hector[/B] Great Info. But on that concept art from Screamscape that was in the original Paramount Survey, the track that comes out of the Adams Family house is about half way up from bottom to top. If a Vertical coaster would be in there, it would have to be at the top, and that wouldnt be a very big drop if so. Maybe i'm seeing it wrong.

For those of you who know what House of Blues is, what do you think about carowinds doing something along those lines.

I dont know about either ride. Italian Job and Addams Family are both okay but I dont think they make for good themes. I liked Mona Lisa smile alot, maybe they should do a coaster based on that.

What! Italian Job is perfect for a theme. A runaway ride it basically what it will be like. And its a big step for Paramount to build a ride like this. The movie is all action, and it was good too! I remember seeing it and I loved it. I think it will work perfect for a ride! :)

Wow! What concepts!

I took the survey...both of the coasters sound really fun.

Addams Family - with a vertical drop sounds awesome, theming sounds cool too.
Italian Job - sounds really fun with "Disney type" special effects.

Mission Impossible might not work as a coaster that well, but it would be fun.
Tomb Raider would be a cool themed coaster, I loved TR:The Ride at PKI. It's so much fun!

I would like to see a TR themed coaster at Carowinds. I also like both concepts but i kinda like how IJ sounds. Either would be a great addition to any park. Hopefully ours.

In the survey, they had dropp tower rides. If you didnt notice, PKI, PKD, PGA, and PC all have one. I dont know if PCW does or not, but why would they have these on there if most all of there parks have one already?

Oh! I know! I know! That means they are going to build a brand new park. It's going to be located in the middle of nowhere, in a town I don't know the name of.

It will have cow tipping as the main attraction lol j/k I couldn't resist that one. ;)

Maybe they are going to put one in PCW or maybe they are going to develop a "new" drop system. Maybe like a tower of terror type ride???? I can dream can't I? ;)

Well PKD just got theres, so they wouldnt waist that kind of money for just a couple of years of operation. Second, PC's isnt that old, and thats something that Carowinds wouldnt do. Maybe PGA's. Theres is old. PK's is pretty old now also, but they would do that either. Nobody would. I guess that they are just choosing a ride that the General Public would most lickely know about and give it a theme and see how it would go over them.

Yeah I still think it's funny they themed it after Drop Zone, considering that the movie was a total flop. lol But it still is a cool name for it though.

Drop Zone was a movie? I had no clue about that. But I guess it doesnt matter if the movie is a flop for a flat or a smaller ride, I guess just for a major coaster. You dont want to see on TV that the movie wasnt even on the Top Ten box office list and then next you see a comercial that has the movie all over the ride! Not too good!

The gyro drop is da bomb of a ride, especially the one at PKD, because you really go fast near the bottom. There's a big differance between the drop tower at PKI and PKD in terms of speed at the bottom. Now that's a ride I wouldn't mind them cloning, if it was even taller, say 300 feet or even an insane 400 feet if they could do it.

I want to ride the wordls tallest Drop tower. I forgot which park it was at. Is it here in the US?

Its @ PKD! Drop Zone. You have probably ridden it, and havent even noticed it! :)

But PKI's is the tallest [I]Gyro[/I] Drop Tower, since PKD's doesnt spin.

PKD has the 2nd tallest drop tower. I wish i could remeber what park it was at but there is a drop tower way taller that PKD & PKI's. I stumbeled across the site a few days ago and not i can't remeber where it was. I con't remeber if it was in the US or not. I'am sure someone on here has to know what i'am talking about.

Its both. On the other side there is the drop tower. When the ride opened, it was a Reverse Freefall coaster, and they left them the option to expand a Drop Tower on it or not, and they did. Its on the other side.

So Dreamworld has the tallest drop tower in the world (377ft). I think i just caught PKI & PKD in a lie, if they ever did say they had the worlds tallest. I'am sure they did. Thanks. I knew someone here had to know the name.

That sounds about right. Now that i think of it i think they said tallest in the US & not world. I wonder how fast DW drop tower gets before breaking. Just when i though 305ft was awsome i find a 377ft, is a long drop. Too bad i don't see myself visiting austrailla just to ride a drop tower. If i would have know about it in 2000 when i went for the olympics i would have gone to the park if they even had it in 2000.

Anyways- I just found out about it also. But its neat how they have 2 in 1. Thats the way parks need to think this way. To save space and land, and yet have 2 awesome rides! I also know a local park who could start using this! I wonder who that is?

I woulden't expect to see many more reverse freefalls. Those coasters are kinda old and it dosen't seem like any park would want one anymore.
