If I put 100 Choices or 50, ppl wouldent know what to choose and every person who would have that home park would choose it... It woudlent be fair for the parks that ppl dont vote for. When theirs less choices each park will get a vote (sooner or later) and it would be fair.

^ I disagree that everyone would pick his/her home park.

At the very least, I would have included the major Florida parks, and BGW.

Well in all fairness BGW is not an amusement park, its a theme park. So when I read his title I assumed BG parks would not be included.

my home parks are Universal IOA/USF/Disneyworlds/BGT. and I would not choose them based on the fact that they are my 'home' parks. I'd vote for BGW or CP

Gaegua Lake and Dorney make it but now IOA or Disney parks? What about any of the international parks?

I'd have to say that if you're gonna make a thread like this, leave the poll out it. You couldn't possibly have included every choice that people could legitimately make with evidence to back themselves up.

Personally, I'd have to say BGT just cause that was where I went on several of my "firsts" and everytime I go there they have something new for me to enjoy. It's got great atmosphere and multiple things to do if you're not big into thrill rides.

Edit: Why the random bold words or posts as in the above true true? Knock it off, we get your point.

The title of thiss thread is Amusmant Park. BUSCH GARDENS and Walt Disney World are NOT AMUSMANT PARKS, they are Theme Parks which focus on differnt worlds (Disney) and countrys (BUSCH GARDENS)

A theme park IS an amusement park in which all the structures and settings have a central theme.

Just stop. Please. What ever your saying does not make complete since. If they were all the same, they why did some one invent or call it a theme park? For the fun of it? I dont think so.

For those who believe a "theme" park is not an "Amusmant" park...

Type "amusement park" and "theme park" into one of these sites...(just make sure you spell "amusmant" properly)

First off, it's Disneyland in CA, second, if you're counting all of WDW as one, you should count all of Universal as one. Not just IOA. I vote for Universal Escape(the entire complex)

BTW, did you really need to make two threads?

VekomaFan is going places!

Again, you skipped all the international parks, lopped entire complex's together, and didn't even get their names right! I'm not trying to be a jerk here VekomaFan, it just seems like you're trying way to hard a bit too early in your life here on TN. Settle back and get a feel for how these boards work, get a bit more education on the parks and then post things like this. You're gonna continuously be ripped apart by most of the board and in the end, you'll only get upset and either leave or do something you'll regret and get banned. As I said in your other thread, the concepts of Amusement parks and Theme parks are way too hard to try to break apart. You can say that Disney is a theme park and the Six Flags parks are amusement cause they're not themed, but usually they have some attempts at themeing and are broken into different lands as well.

Polls are tricky with something as wide open as this question.

What, are we in chat? I personally believe there is a slight difference between theme parks and amusement parks, but I don't believe that it's enough of a difference to not be able to equally compare them.

What is an "Amusmant Park"?

Vekomafan, What you're saying does not make complete "since". If anything, you should "Just Stop". Being a fanboy (or girl) for a good park is okay, and even for a good company, but you are an odd one. Vekoma.

VekomaFan - Does Busch Gardens Florida really count as a "theme" park?

After all, when I click on BGT's web site, the top of my Internet browser shows "Busch Gardens Tampa Bay-Florida Amusement Park"

VekomaFan you left out the best park in the world Cedar Point. And you also left out about 30 major parks. My favorite park is Cedar Point.

vekomafan is your definition of theme park one entire park devoted to 1 or several themes? or is it an amusemenet park? because wther way your missing some. this is a very broad question, given all the options you should have not made this a poll rather having people reply with their answer.
