| Question about Knotts Berry Farm
Does anyone know if KBF is open during Febuary? I tried looking on the web site but it only shows September.

KBF is open year round, the only day I know of that they are closed is Christmas.

http://www.knotts.com/park/guest/index.shtml February is really good time to go there. I rode Ghostrider 20 times, Xcelerator 15 times, Jaguar, Monte, and Boomerang once each in about 4 hours during a February weekday in 2004. In 2005, I rode Ghostrider 25 times and Silver Bullet 6 times in three hours.
KBF is open year round, the only day I know of that they are closed is Christmas.
They have daily operation throughout the year? I could see weekends between October and March or so. I find that surprising if that's true. I'd imagine as someone said, it would have to be completely empty on a weekday during what's normally an offseason for most parks.

/\ He's right on that. The Knott's Berry Farm theme park is open every single day of the year with the sole exception of Christmas Day. And no, unlike the Mid-East and East coast, during the fall/winter seasons, we have considerably warm or what's called "cool" or comfortable weather during (anywhere between 50 - 75 degrees F in temperature) during what is considered the "off-season" for parks not on the West Coast. But of course and a given, it rains during the winter period, but the park remains open and if the rainfall is too heavy (which hardly happens) a select few attractions will temporarily close until the weather gets better. But my point is with all of that above is that people do patronize the park year-round, and even on slowest days (when SoCal schools are at their busiest and tourism flow is at its slowest), the park still isn't completely deserted. It's nice that they're open year round. I went there for spring break last year (about the middle of March). If I recall correctly, SFMM is only open weekends for some part of the year, but Knott's is daily year-round.

So do any of you think it will be crowded during presidents day week?

From what I heard, the presidents day is rather crowded but not during weekdays. Sorry, I am from Ohio so I do not have too much info. I do go to Southern California just about every year during February for business trips. I somehow find time to go to KBF.
