Kennywood on 10-8-05???

I was just curious if anyone has a clue as to what Kennywood is like during their Phantom Fright Nights. I noticed that they are only open from 7p-1a so I wondered what the crowds were like, if all major rides will be open, and if so is it feasible to do the whole park in one fall evening??? Any tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

You can do the park in the evening, but it isn't smart to go on a Saturday. Friday nights are more feasible. As high schoolers have football games that night. Fright nights is good. Most attractions are open. Racer, however won't be. It is finally getting rehabbed into electrical (it has been manual for so many years). And they are re-doing the queue line. Thunderbolt, PR, JR, Exterminator, Pittfall, and most flat rides are open. If you want to do any haunted houses or mazes get to the park early. The lines have reached about 90 minutes last time I was in the park for Fright nights.

If you need discounted coupons, there is a Giant Eagle above the park, grab a ticket there for 18.50. Otherwise it is 21.50 at the gates.

Hope you have fun. I will be there the night before.

Katie, who will be at PPP on the 8th.

you can do the whole park in one evening if the day is slow. If it is a super packed day you can go through 2 mazes and maybe get on 2 rides depending on how long their waits are and how patient you are. The lines for the haunted attractions can get up to 2 1/2 hours long. Usually the first 2 weekends in october are semi-slow.

If you havn't been to Kennywood, try to go for a day. When I went we were there like 11-6 and we had to cram everything in. It is an awesome park, try to spend as much time as possible there.

edit: I just realized this thing is old.
