six flags marine world to extend season for 06 season!

11/28/05) Six Flags MarineWorld appears to be trying something new for the 2006 Holiday season (yes, next year). The park’s operational calendar has been posted to the official website and shows that they will remain open on weekends through the December as well as extended operating hours and extra days around the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. In fact the week before Christmas, they are open daily until 10pm each night, which makes me wonder if they are planning some kind of holiday lights display in the park since they return to a 6pm close starting December 26th (after being closed on Christmas itself). For comparison, the park’s last day of the 2005 season was on October 30th.

Sounds great to me!! Maybe I'll have to plan a trip back home to California now for next Christmas. Means I'll have a park to go to again. :)

I wonder if other SF parks will start doing it as well. I would think that most people would gladly welcome the chain wide return of Holiday in the Park if they decided to do it.
