IOA is my homepark. Does anybody have information about the next ride there.:confused:

It's going to be something to do with Jurrasic Park. Most rumors point to a jeep ride with a T-Rex chasing you like in the first movie. I think they should do something with the Mummy, and Gladiator.

Maybe they'll have a Jurassic Park Jeep Ride in which a t-rex starts to chase you, but then finds the mummy and chases that instead, then Russel Crowe slays the t-rex to save his friend, the mummy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JK

These guys are great, they give updates on what's going on, but they're still top secret when it comes to the new ride.

They did mention that IOA has a "boat-load" of land available, so that's not a problem. The next message asked if the next attraction was a jeep ride, lol, we're asking, no answer yet.

Don't worry, they know we'd like a thrill ride. The messages posted over there get read by the decision makers.

That Jeep concept has been floating around for awhile. I'm starting to wonder if it will happen.

Emerald Raptor over on the DIS board posted pics of the empty land in the JP area and asked about the jeep ride idea. Awesome pics. The shot near DD now has the Flying Unicorn, so that pic is old, not as much room to build anything.

Earl answered the question and said No. If Earl says no, then I'd believe it, he's our inside contact to IOA, not the lemon chill guy.

I'm starting to think they're going to finish the Royal Pacific Hotel and not do anything for next year. That hotel will sell out and draw lot's of attention to the park, IMHO.

I'd like a new coaster at IOA before next summer (that's when I plan on going down next). If they don't, I still don't have a problem with riding dueling dragons and the Incredible Hulk all day.

i doubt they will get a new coaster that soon, but IOA doesnt really have that many rides, so it is possible

There's the Jeep thing and possibly a flying coaster. Those are the only 2 I've heard as possibilities.
