In case you guys didn't notice, I was kidding about the poodle thing. My cousin and I were bored, so we decided to do something to pass the time <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_razz.gif"> If it offended anyone, I'm sorry, but we were just joking. If that actually did happen, I wouldn't be laughing about it...I have 2 dogs and several other pets, so I wouldn't find real life cruelty to animals to be funny. Also, I doubt they would allow dogs into SFGADV.
<BR>
<BR>Anyway, I haven't really heard anything stupid that guests say, other than this person looking at Nitro and saying "That's WAY over 300 feet tall!". <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif"> But one time this kid in front of us in line for Millennium Force did something funny...
<BR>
<BR>It was early in the morning, and since there was a pretty long line, some staff members were offering coffee in the line. The worker had one large container of coffee, so this kid wanted to go up and either act funny or piss the person off. He went up to her and said "Can I have a double chocolate cafe latte with cream, sugar, and whipped cream?". Then the worker just calmly said "No.", and then she started laughing a little bit. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif"> My dad was cracking up...<BR><BR><font size=-1>[ This Message was edited by: CoolCoasterKid on 2001-07-04 09:11 ]</font>

Lemme tell you what two people were discussing in front of me at PKD in line for the Shockwave
<BR>"I heard at Coney Island a loop broke and killed everyone on board"
<BR>
<BR>"Really, and guess what, someone else fell out of this coaster (that true) b/c he was too small for the restraints to hold while it was going through the loop"
<BR>
<BR>"And at Busch Gardens, a man was killed working on one of the houses b/c the Big Bad Wolf came down and hit him in the head"
<BR>
<BR>and they talked on and on and on about coaster deaths. It was annoying.

Once when i went to six flags, some family(i think from Alabama)was on line for a water ride, and i heard them saying that de ja vu was open(it was about a few months ago when they just started testing) and they kept saying that they didnt want to go on it because they thought the train crashed and someone got hurt on it.

When I was in line for the mind Bender at SFOG this 16 looking year old was with 2 12 looking kids. The 16 year old said to the kids(the 3 were together) that this ride has 8 g forces and that astronauts go through 6 g's. He was being totally serious too. he also said the ride broke the sound barrier. I think that he actually believed himself. What a totall idiot. the kids were like" your so smart" and all this stuff.

Oh yes, when I worked at Universal I got questions all the time like "Where's Star Tours?" or "Where's the Tower of Terror?"
<BR>
<BR>What I really hated is when they'd ask "Where's Mickey Mouse?" And that was the adults. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif">

I was at SFOG and I was watching Deja Vu test and this little girl came up to me and asked me how to get to the line entrance.
<BR>
<BR>I said "The ride is closed" and she walked away.
<BR>
<BR>Then she came back and asked "Where is the line entrance and are you in line?"
<BR>
<BR>I calmly told her "the ride is closed, you cannot ride it"
<BR>
<BR>Then she asked "How long have you been waiting in line"
<BR>
<BR>Wow, she was sooo stupid! <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif">

Some idiot in the line for WDW's Space Mountain was telling everybody that someone tried to stand up, and got his head chopped off by the "low" supports.
<BR>
<BR>My sister has this really stupid friend, and she said that, in the winter, Jazzland's log flume Cypress Plunge froze over, and they let park visitors ice skate on it. Boy, what a maroon.

If you have seen Space Mt. supports outside of the building in models and pictures the tracks are closely above each over to condense the size of the entire coaster enough to fit in the building (what a long sentence). It is possible that if someone tried to stand up, they would have injuries after the ride.

Also that day, we were on the White Water Canyon ride and my friend looks over at the rubber balloon part of the boat and says "Intamin River Rapids Ride...haha.. I always thought that the classification for a fruit was that in grew on branches while vegetables grew underground. That is why peanuts are considered a vegetable. Tomatoes grow on branches(I think), so they are a fruit.

One of the lamest mascots ever is Captain Oohm-Pa-Pa, the original mascot for Valleyfair. It's supposed to be this Colonel Sanders' looking band leader... but anyways...
<BR>
<BR>I was joking around with the Ride Op at Excalibur (we'd gone through the queue 6 times already, and were trying to get her to let the train just roll through the station) so I told her that Captain Oohm-Pa-Pa was my dad, he owned the park, and I said that she could let the train go through without stopping... she got a good laugh.

This wasn't at a park but...
<BR>
<BR>After MF opened (for about a month) this kid at school was like "They are going to close it and sell it because there are too many G's" My friend and I were trying to tell him that they weren't but he wouldn't believe us. THEN, he said "and Magnum is skinging into the ground." At that point I just stopped trying.

<BR>So, pepers,stringbeans, and cucumbers are fruits? Tomatoes are mixed, they can be classified as fruits and vegetebles, there is still no answer to if it is 100% a fruit or vegetable

If you like this kind of stuff, you have to read Heylownine's "FAQ" from when he was an empolyee at SFMM. Absolutely hilarious reading. You'll find it here:
<BR><!-- BBCode auto-link start --><a href="http://members.tripod.com/heylownine/s-faq.htm" target="_blank">http://members.tripod.com/heylownine/s-faq.htm</a><!-- BBCode auto-link end -->
<BR>
<BR>Also, one time while I was in line for Viper at SFMM I ended up next to a guy from England and his two American college girl friends. He was trying to impress them with his knowledge of coasters, and told them that Viper was the tallest looping coaster in the world and that it hit something like 80 mph. I politely corrected him and told him that Steel Phantom was the tallest looper (it was still operating at the time).
<BR>
<BR>Then he said that there weren't any places like SFMM at all in England. I said, really? Must have missed Blackpool, Thorpe Park, and a couple of the others.
<BR>
<BR>For some strange reason the girls didn't look to impressed with him after that.

At Mannhattan Express there were these guys who were trying to convince me that it only pulled like .5 G and that at like 3 G you pass out. They also said they were graduates for college and their degree was in Physics. <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif">

In line for Alpengeist, this girl behind me asked, "I haven't ridden this before. Is it scary when the snow monster comes and swipes at the ski lift?"
<BR>I replied, "Yeah, it's pretty scary. But when the Wild Mouse chews on your car on Wilde Maus, man I got the shrieks something terrible." <IMG SRC="/phpBB/images/smiles/icon_lol.gif">

I heard a million dumb things at Disney World when I worked there but one of the best was, "Does the monorail take me to Universal Studios?"
<BR>
<BR>Also go..."Is the water in the Jungle Cruise real?"
<BR>
<BR>Just yesterday, while helping line up our city's parade, someone asked me..."Why are you having a parade?" I told her it was our Christmans parade!

<BR>Actually a peanut is classified as a bean.
<BR>And yes, a tomato is a fruit. It may not seem like it, but it is.
