Knotts Berry Farm [General Discussion]

I thought I might start one for KBF. Well anyways, I having my first trip there on Friday and I can't wait. To start this thread off, I just have a couple of questions:

Is Perilous Plunge normally closed during the colder winter season?

Should I head to any particular ride first? [Silver Bullet] [Xcelerator]

The park will be open from 10 to six that day so I guess I should plan accordingly. I plan on going on all the coasters and thrill rides [Rip Tide] [La Revolucion] etc. so any tips or anything, shoot

Oh and the reason I'm going to Knotts is because I've gone to Magic Mountain three times this year already and I live in Arizona, so yeah.

Thanks

I'm going to SFMM this winter break for my first time, actually my first time in Cali. So sadly I've chosen it over KBF but If I was you I'd go to Xcelerator first because rockets look amazing in my opinion and then hit the back of the park. At about noon head up to Talon and hit it because by noon the major crowds are usually already heading towards the back at the parks I've been to.

He probably meant Silver Bullet. Talon is a B&M invert on the OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY.

What I did was go to Silver BUllet first because it was the first ride upon entering the park. After that, I headed into the area around Jaguar and Montezooma and rode all the rides in that area. Montezooma's a great ride. Don't miss it. I like it better than the Bullet. Anyway, after that I rode Xcelerator, then did the rides around Ghostrider, and then I made my way back to Xcelerator, hitting the rest of the rides on the way. I ended up riding Xcelerator 3 times, the other rides once. If I could do the trip again, I would do exactly what Idid before, add Perilous Plunge (which I didn't do), and ride Montezooma and Ghostrider a few more times. And of course, save a front row ride on Xcelerator for last. Also, don't bother riding Boomerang. It's just... so... like... it's... a boomerang. A freaking horrible boomerang. Take an extra ride on Rip Tide in the time you'll save.

Oh crapzor, you're right. Sorry. I've been looking at pics of three B&M inverts lately: Talon, Patriot, and Silver Bullet, and I accidentally got them confused. BTW, I think Bullet looks amazing. But if you hit it first, then you may want to go at opening, and may want to book it to it.
