Park with Best Non-Coaster Attractions

I was wondering which park you think has the best attractions (flats, dark rides, water rides, shows) beyond their coasters?

And please feel free to explain why you feel that way.

It would probably be the Disney parks because those are the majority of their rides and they are themed better than any other non coasters.

You're likely to be correct, particularly if you're looking for more family oriented attractions as opposed to thrilling attractions. So who besides Disney, or put another way which park has the best non-coaster attractions that would include a significant number of more thrilling flats. Oh, I forgot to add drop rides if you haven't included them elsewhere.

Of the parks I've been to, Mt. Olympus might be first with all the great go-kart tracks and the water park included in admission along with some other various stuff such as miniature golf. Cedar Point also because besides the standard flat rides that every park has, they also have three amazing flats that I love (Power Tower, maXair, Skyhawk). I'm sure I would love some other parks too that I haven't been to yet. Oh and Kings Island also gets a mention too with Drop Zone, Delirium and Tomb Raider.

I can tell you want people to answer with some well known thrill parks, such as Cedar Point. Well I've never been there, but I can definitely say that Knott's Berry Farm has A LOT of non coaster rides worth riding. Riptide, Perilous Plunge, Supreme Scream, La Revolucion, Screamin' Swing, a well themed log flume, and there's more. I hear the shows are good too, but I never really see shows at parks.

I think I would give that honor to Islands of Adventure. They have a great line up of rides and most of them aren't coasters. Great theming makes the difference.

The Jurrasic Park River ride is a great darkride/flume combination with lots going on. The T-rex is fantastic.
The Spiderman attraction is so cool, it is beyond description.
Dudley Doright's ripsaw falls if a great flume all decked out in a cartoon adventure.
Popeye & Bluto's Bildge Barges is a rapids ride again with great theming.
Another great dark ride is the Cat in the Hat in the childrens area.
And finially the most unique carosel I've ever seen.

Having not been to it, I am really looking forward to visiting Canada's Wonderland which has North Americas only park model Top Scan, and a unique Sledge Hammer, along with regular staples of a looping ship, Drop Zone, double top spin, and frisbee swing. Thats just the listed thrill rides! Family rides include the swinging ship, tea cups, chair swing, carousel, a UFO, and couple of water rides. The park also has a nice waterpark.

Besides the Disney Parks, I would have to say Canada's Wonderland.
Great collection of flats, great free waterpark (which I'm hoping gets some nice upgrades and new slides soon) and decent shows.

James checks in and doesn't mention Canobie shame.

yes the big name parks have the attractions outside of the attraction Universal also. Busch gardens is also high on that list with solid flats and great shows. but why not talk about smaller parks! I saw lagoon what else!

Canobie lake park - A very good flat selection. more total rides to there dry park then SFNE. show quality varies from year to year but makes a solid attempt at shows every year. They also do a great job at landscaping.

Santa's Village - Golden ticket winer for best show under 25,000 dollars. There other shows are good including a 3D and animatronic shows. they also have smaller shows that play during the summer. There non coaster attraction aren't too bad either.

Story Land - Fantastic landscaping and good themeing. Ride selection isn't terrible. interesting shows.

I have to go with the cliche answer, and say the Disney Parks.

It was a big choice for me between Kennywood and CP, but I have to say Kennywood, especiallt with the addition of Ghostwood Estate next year.

I actually like Dorney Park's offerings for myself and then the younger ones. The old fashioned carnival like cars in the lower midway remind me of my childhood. Idlewild and Canobie have the covered caterpillar rides. Canobie has a nice selection but a Missile they decide to keep SBNO. The Missile is too dated though. I rode it at Dutch Wonderland. Canobie doesn't have a Topspin yet. It may be too intense for their crowd. The Frisbee looks cool but was still under construction when I visited and broke my camera on the Corkscrew.
