MagiQuest

Has anyone gone to a MagiQuest park? I'm curious what they are like. I think there are a few at some Red Wolf Lodges too but looks like Myrtle Beach is the largest location.

They look like fun. Aging on the young side. But cool features.

I went to one in myrtle beach 3 years ago. It is defentily geared toward the younger children, but it is not a totally little kid based exprerence and the "magic wands" make the exprerence very interactive.

I have been to the one in Myrtle Beach and my 8 year old (at the time) loved it. We still have our wands.

I also have done the "knock off" Wizard Quest in the Dells and it is much more physical and fun for teens and adventurous older types. Same principle withe computer quest and the RF technology.

Both are a lot of fun. They are building one next to the Christmas Place in Pigeon Forge.

Interesting Fact, I really wish I could find the article about it, but supposedly Universal worked out a deal/bought the rights to use MagiQuest's technology. Take note that they did not work out a deal to build an actual MagiQuest location on property, but only to use the technology... to me, this screams Harry Potter. I have a very very strong addition that Hogwarts Castle may end up being a massive harry potter version of these types of attractions.

They opened one near NYC. I'm going to check it out next week. They are thinking about partnering with Nickelodeon (where I work ;-) ). Looks like promising technology.

Just wanted you all to know that the location in Pigeon Forge you are referring to is not a MagiQuest concept. It's called Adventure Quest, the specific details of this concept are being kept secret. You can read about it here. Not sure if it will be a knock off of MagiQuest at this point, but it sounds like it might be.
