| | Islands Of Adventure So I'll be heading to IOA in Sept. I have heard different things about how the construction of Harry Potter is going. So is there any word on if they will be closing Dueling Dragons or any part of the Lost continent anytime soon while they construct Harry Potter?? |

| | | Last i heard (about a week ago) construction was getting to the point where they might have to close the entire Lost Continent section which means closeing DDragons. Then again that was on another coaster site and not official word from the park so its anybody's guess come Sept.

| | | I wonder if they have to close the entire lost continent if you will still be able to circumnavigate the lake, or will you have to turn around and walk the other way.

| | | I'll be there in October. I can't wait to see what all has been done by then. Hopefully they will atleast be finished with some of the projects like the streets or the face of the buildings.
I don't think you will have to turn around. I would hope they would build a bridge that bypasses that area.
What is that bridge they already built? Where does that go?
I just wish Universal would have decided to do this sooner. Like 6 years ago.

| | | Well I did hear they were buidling a temp bridge from Jurassic Park over to the middle of LC. So maybe DD will be closed down for a bit. |

| | Yeah, walls went up on Monday night, and as of Tuesday, July 8th, the new temporary bridge is open, with the back portion of Lost Continent being a dead end/closed off. Dueling Dragons is still open for the summer season, but I have no idea if it'll still be open in September.

| | | ^ I know the Flying Unicorn, Enchanted Oak, and Dragon's Keep closed, but Dueling Dragons is still open. It's just a dead end now. As for Sinbad and Poseidon's, I haven't heard them being shut down so I assume they're still open.

| | | I would hate it for DD to be closed if I was going to the park..
I think Universal knows that keeping DD open is necessary, being it one of the parks most famous and most popular rides.

| | | It has to close once a year anyway for rehab so most likely they will close it and do the rehab then.

| | | I imagine Dragons would close during a less busy time of the year and not during summer. Maybe in January after the Christmas rush?

| | | I don't know about most people, but I would way rather go in September - March
I would never go anywhere near the summer season.
I went in February, and IT was busy as hell.

| | | Fall is the perfect time to go. Most days in the fall are pretty dead with walk-on's for everything.
