Attack of the SF Yellow Uniforms

I can't seem to avoid the Six Flags tennis ball/crossing guard yellow uniforms. The teen employees seem to be allowed to wear them outside of work. The colors allow them to stand out so well they're easy to recognize around town especially with the "My family comes here, Please keep the park clean" message on the back. My town is only about 40 minutes from the park. They come with their parents to where I work where I generally give them a message of good support because I was one of them once. They also come to the YMCA and walk around town from the high school where the bus drops them off. Is Six Flags allowing them to take shirts home to thus save money on cleaning them inhouse? I always remember having to turn my uniform in every day in the late 90's.

The bright yellow has made me look at the old Six Flags blue uniforms that remain at Darien Lake in disgust because those now look so outdated. When Six Flags sold the place did they leave a whole shipping box of these uniforms for Parc Entertainment?

Canada's Wonderland made us buy our uniforms, so we were able to take them home.
The only ones they kept and washed there were things like Security and Mechanics.

I think yellow is an ugly frickin' color, but then again, I haven't seen the new SF uniforms, so I'm not one to judge.

WildeFyre..
is working at CW fun?
I am considering working there when I turn sixteen, that is, if I don't move next year.

I guess you don't have to see them in person but they've made trip report pictures. The local towns switched crossing signs to this tennis ball yellow, the public works workers wear those vests, your local Waste Management trash collector is probably wearing one.

For the three years I've worked at the park, we've been able to take our uniforms home with us. Kind of necessary when you take the lockers and showers away. Maybe it's not that weird after all. Disney has locker rooms, but you can wear your costume to and from work. You're just not supposed to go out in it.

As long as you don't get caught up in the politics of it and keep your mouth shut, it's a very fun place to work.
