It looks like SFKK and the severed feet girl are heading to trial. Looks like SFKK is denying all responsibility. I think that the "behind the scenes" fight will be between Intamin and SFKK. Yoou better believe there will be a lot of finger pointing in this one.

I'm suprised its going to trial. I figured SF would have setteled out of court cause i personally think SF is 100% at fault here. They clearly didn't maintain the cables and the e-stop was never pressed or it was pressed way too late.

I agree, what does Six Flags think that the outcome of this trial is gonna be other than they're gonna be blamed? They shoulda just paid the girl and gone on their way a long time ago. OR maybe they tried to?

You guys don't know what happened. In this money hungry world, one out of three people wouldn't be happy with a private settlement. I bet the family is going to court to try to get as much out of both companies s possible. It's a shame, I'm sure Six Flags tried as hard as any other company to stay out of court. They were probably ready to throw a big sum of money away on a settlement and the family said no.
