Disney is pricing it so you basically have to do the multi day option to make it affordable.

hotels have gone sky high it seems too. We checked rooms in Penn for next year, and they are about $20 more than they were last year!

Its a very smart move. They have always tried to keep you on property longer so of course you'd spend alot more money. It works.

So true. If people think it's excessive they won't go.

Honestly, I don't think $75 for WDW is half as crazy as BGE's $60ish. Knoebels' still seems to be the best deal.

I'm beginning to think more and more that an afternoon (4 hours) of watching a decent college football game at $60-$70 a seat is worth more than what Disney wants for a full day.

I am sure you guys realize that this is 75 for one park so its 300 for all parks if you were to walk up. Disney charges it becuase they can.. They want you to buy a package deal and stay at there hotels.. The more you are in the park the more mouse ears, face paints, park photos and high priced food you will buy... From what I have seen of the Florida Parks this year, the econemy has not hurt them at all.. BGT been buisy all summer, Disney always buisy, Sea World every time I have been this summer packed, even the new Aquatica, has to close its gates by 10am because they are at capacity..

Will we see 100 admission sure and probably in the next 5 years. I think you will see it first at Univeral where it will be 100 for a 2 park hopper once Harry Potter opens (keep in mind US is at 80+tax for 2 park hopper now).. Then Disney can justify 100 for single park.. Keep in mind that Disney really wants you to buy a vacation like most of the commercials you have seen. You know the kids running to the window and the parents looking on the internet going 1500 we can do that..

If there goal was to get people like me to stop even considering Disney, and to get totally off my radar, then it was a very smart move. It worked wonderfully.

And if they make a mint off of it, i have no problem with that, either. But I'm not paying 75 bucks to go to ANY park. They can't possibly offer enough to be worth 75 bucks. not to me, at least.

So true Johnny. That commercial always gets a chuckle from me. My assumption is that to these parents "we can do that" means that their credit card balance is $13,000 and the card's limit is $15,000.

Back to the prices, the more that I think about it, $75 is a great deal.

If I hadn't skipped my last 466 scheduled nicotine dosages over the last 15 days, 12 hours, 30 minutes, and 25 seconds, I would have paid $86.40 for 24 packs that would have shortened my life by 1 days, 14 hours, and 45 minutes.

What's a worse deal than that?
