Over priced entry. Over ambitious park schedule and well sorry to say a park that just lacked alot of the things a park should have.. I hit the park and felt it just lacked alot for its very high price.. They should have been more in the 35.00 to 39.00 range for entry.. Hopefully they will beable to reopen next year with a better bill process and beable to operate.

Wow, BIG surprise....

And they are still planning on keeping the non-seasonal employee benefits. I find this extremely funny. Somehow I feel really sad for those employees though.

I can see now the economy was alot at fault, that and their lack of rides and such at the park, they should have added alot more. before opening, they got off to a bad start i'm sure they can turn it around drastically.

It's a bit surprising they did it this quickly. But they seem eager to get this done so they can continue to operate. Lets see how things change for the 2009 season.

I think marketing was also a major issue. Not many people I have talked to have ever even heard of it before, even though there were radio ads here in Ohio, I still believe most people have no idea about the park.

If they want to do good at all in 2009 they first need to drop admission to $35 and maybe drop food a bit. A few new rides would help alot but after Chapter 11 i doubt any new attractions will go in next year. New marketing will go a long way as well.

I don't see anything being put in that park for a few years, but hopefully they wise up and at least drop some of the prices.

Well I don't care what their website may say or how much they may try to doctor it up, filing for Chapter 11 is NEVER a good sign. And it especially isn't good when you are filing for it MONTHS after opening up your business. I sure hope the place can be saved, but if they continue to function in the same fashion or anything close to it (i.e. high prices, lack of rides, marketing), they will be doing liquidation next year.
