I've been to tons of parks, but my favourite is Busch Gardens Europe. Everything was great - AWESOME rides, beautiful scenery, good food and nice shows. Staff is super friendly, and the prices were reasonable. Great place! Lake Compounce is also up there - my favorite ride in the world (Boulder Dash), and just a really nice place. Although a lot of people disagree for some reason, I think Cedar Point is also obviously way up the list. Just fantastic, coasters everywhere. |

Hmm.. Having been to almost 200 parks, its kinda hard to pick a top park. But a few parks I really love would be Liseberg, Alton Towers, Phantasialand, and Port Avantura. Last edited by James; 11-24-2008 at 09:19 PM. |

Sometimes I don't like the fact I've been to a park more than once and experience the park change. I liked Hershey when I first went in 1999 and it's gone down in preference for me since. 14. Kings Dominion 13. Everland 12. Cedar Point in 2000 11. Hersheypark in 1999 10. Dorney Park 9. Six Flags New England 8. Kennywood 7. Six Flags Fiesta Texas 2006 6. Six Flags Over Texas 2006 5. Paramount's Kings Island 2003 4. Busch Gardens Africa 3. Disneyland 2. Six Flags Great Adventure 1. Universal's Islands of Adventure Six Flags Magic Mountain suffers the most for me. It only had half the coasters available my two visits and it took those two visits to get them all.

Some of my Favorite parks are. BGE - Great themeing, landscaping, rides, shows. Disney world parks - always a memorable trip. Canobie Lake Park - It's my home park and will always have a place in my heart. In a general sence lots of rides mostly flats, Great landscaping, some good themeing. Story Land - Ya it's a kids park but offers a lot. Santa's Village - another kids park that offers a great experience. SFOG - My favorite in the chain. Good selection of rides, like the themeing, well landscaped.

| That name is gravely wrong. You meant Geauga Lake. Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom is the current and transformed name of the facility after they decided to ditch the rides section. That's it unless you're really just forecasting the property's future for us.

Cedar Point would probably have to be my favorite, because it's got the biggest variety of rides, and the best views from them. I love being near the water, and to me, one of the best parts of their coasters is the fact you get this beautiful lake view from the first hill of most of them. Then second would be Disney. I haven't really truly been to all of Disney since I was about 6 years old, but even the few hours I spent in Epcot in March, I could feel the "magic" of the park. Even just driving around trying to figure out where we were going (we got horribly lost trying to find the Shades of Green resort and saw an alligator sunning himself near the side of the road!!) was an experience. The Cast Members have to be the best team of park employees I've ever encountered and really seemed to go out of their way to ensure happiness and fun. And taking a 38-year-old and 27-year-old to the park for their very first time and watching both of them instantly revert to children was a ton of fun too. Participating in DiveQuest (scuba diving in the Living Seas aquarium) was quite possibly the most amazing thing I've ever done - and interacting with the people in the Coral Reef restaurant was soooo fun! The only other parks I've been to are: Kings Island (so-so) Libertyland (a trash heap except for the Zippin Pippin, and understandable why it was closed) Six Flags over Georgia (third, IMO, because of the atmosphere and friendliness of everyone, especially the other guests!)

Well, All the Disney parks have a great "magical" atmosphere.Islands Of Adventure has a great character atmosphere.Busch Gardens Europe has a great international atmosphere.Plus, the scenic area of Williamsburg adds to the rustic charm of the park.Cedar Point has a great, wholesome, family fun atmosphere.Hershey Park has a great character atmosphere.Geauga Lake had a great character atmosphere when it was Six Flags. When it was Cedar Fair,it had a nice, family friendly atmosphere. The Great Escape had a great atmosphere when it wasn't Six Flags.I've never been to it since the Six Flags acquisition.Darien Lake had a great character atmosphere.Plus,it was very spread out and felt very large.Kennywood has a great atmosphere that shows the park's dedication to making a person's day when they visit Kennywood Park. |

Parks I have been to outside of Ohio that I really liked: Hersheypark...Lightning Racer was great. Kennywood--what can I say about this one. Just charming. Indiana Beach, before the new owners. So retro and right out of the 60's. Holiday World--been there for a SRM event and a Holliwood Nights. Plus the Voyage, so ya. . . Dollywood at Christmas......wow. BGE....great rides and scenery. BGA...Kumba rocked my world that day. In Ohio: Cedar Point--I grew up there every summer ever since I was able to walk. So it will always hold a place in my heart. Night rides on Magnum w/o the breaks on are the closest thing to nirvana for me. King's Island--I used to love riding the Beast at night, waiting in the station listening to classic rock blasting, watching all the people come back into the station cheering and clapping. I miss those warm carefree nights. Geauga Lake--before and after the CF acquisition, I liked the nightlife and the multiple rides on Villian and Dominator. My heart is sick over the history of a great park that has been trashed and disregarded. Wyandot Lake/Zoombezi Bay--I expect great things from this new park. Sticker's Grove--Try and go on one of the few days they are open to the general public and ride the Tornado. Great pops of air on the return trip to the station. LeSourdesville Lake--Only went once in 2002 for their very short operating season, but I'm so glad I got several rides on the Screechin' Eagle. Now it's just sitting there rotting. Just sickening. Coney Island (Cincinnati)--have not been there yet, but plan on going next summer. Might be worth a visit to go in the sunlite pool and ride the Python.
