Can a boat splash ride be an adult ride wish for the future since I read people remarking elsewhere about the South Carolina summers? Does Slippery When Wet take care of that I guess?

The Samba Tower is fun. I rode one at Sesame Place to get pics of Grover's Vapor Trail Coaster I believe.

A flume woudl be a good addition and not really expensive within a million dollars. Sky trans(OD Hopkins designers and original owner) is a good one to look at.

the park has Slippery when wet as its only water ride. there are a few pop jet water feature things around the park and that Tipping bucket(a big waist of space)

Freestyle just loves to throw a lot of pink around. I think they painted the nose and fins of the Led Zeppelin blimp station pink. Pink is in their logo, on their podium. They should get Tmobile and Pepto Bismol to sponser attractions.Tmobile phonebooth should pop in there.

I despise the color pink. I hope that is not a continuing trend.

The website has taken on a new incarnation this weekend after the new kids area announcement. They have a countdown clock. Seeing Led Zep in the window on the top border looks refreshing.

Splitting up all these announcements is a good move they already know all the name changes and things they will do this year. but by spreading things out it keeps them in the news.

The updated website has tabs for tickets, a link to Myrtle Beach Tourism/Business Department, and other links, just not the ride/area sections yet.

If they rethemed Led Zep to the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Rollercoaster of Love, particularly since the front and ends of the blimp are now red/pink, that would be awesome. Even going out to Friday's or a baseball game, the marketing people could have easily come up with that idea.

The Park announced Led Zep will now be known as "The Time Machine." I'm so confused.

Its starting to sound like they put 8 year olds in charge of transforming the parks theme.

The music part they have down for the coaster. The train will have multiple tracks available to choose during the ride to showcase multiple decades of music.

Ha, that does sound like something an 8 year old would come up with.

I was getting worried as we were getting to just 10 days! I just found the park calendar and map on the right on the main web page of the park. http://www.freestylemusicpark.com They're going to start full day hours when I plan to go there during vacation in June.

Finally they have a voice.

I'm a member of their Facebook page. They revealed today two shows called Adrenaline Rush and Ice Cold Country. A clue was dropped a themed area is called Myrtle's Beach.

I finally looked up the HRP commercials. They looked really 90's and we were in 2008-2009.

The themed lands are:
* Myrtle’s Beach formerly Rock ‘N’ Roll Heaven
* Kids in America formerly Born in the USA;
* Across the Pond formerly British Invasion;
* Country USA formerly Cool Country.
* VIP Plaza formerly All Access Entry Plaza.
Attractions:

# Iron Horse formerly The Eagles
# Soak’d formerly Slippery when Wet
# Hang Ten formerly Shake Rattle ‘n’ Rollercoaster
# Kiss the Sky formerly Bohemian Rhapsody
# Polly Nesian’s Splash Bash formerly Reggae Falls
# Round About formerly Max RPM!
# The Texas Swing formerly Just A Swingin’
# Big Ol’ Trucks formerly Muddin’ Moster Race
# Faerie Glen formerly Magic Mushroom Garden
# Whirlygigs formerly The English Faire
# Carnaby Carousel formerly All The Kings Horses
# McGillivray Cab Company formerly London Cab Ride
# Jump formerly The Pink Pit
# Ring My Bell formerly Funky Town Midway
# Grunge Station formerly Garage Jam

This is the park map. http://freestylemusicpark.com/blog/w...ap/parkMap.htm Wow, the park is small.

The themed areas aren't bad think the Myrtle Beach area seems a bit dull and not well thought out.

Ring My bell Is the only ride/attraction name I really like outside the Kiddie/family rides. Kiss The Sky Is a good name for a fireworks show. They rename Maximum RPM to Round about. the English word for a Merry-go-round (carousel). In the mean time the Carousel gets renamed from All The Kings Horses to Carnaby Carousel.

Screamscape was right. The park announced today they are debuting a CSI Live show. The show was at SFMM before I read.

The park logo minus the loops has made it's way onto the giant old Hark Rock neon guitar.

^I would imagine that would be an odd sight among the numerous other "Hard Rock Park" logos that will be replaced.

Didn't even waste my time to watch this at MM, heard it was terrible. Obviously not very popular either as it only lasted one summer.

I'm glad they got to keep the guitar. It's the park's icon that everbody (that has been to the park) recognizes.

That guitar woudl be a nightmare to remove. while it's full weight was not stated the delivered product was a ton heavier then the original projected weight.

the CSI show doesn't sound that interesting.

I could imagine the giant Hard Rock guitars being moved from the closed Newport Beach and the first Phoenix location. I just didn't want it to happen here. I'm glad it's still here but altered. I heard about it being heavier than intended and with it surrounded by water I could imagine how difficult it would be to move it.

The CSI show is probably a one year filler show.

Ya but I woudl imagine a show like that and the naming rights would likely have cost them a 100K or so. I would have preferred to see anotehr ride added.
