Multiple park season passes

Other than Six Flags and Cedar Fair, are there any other companies that sell multi-park season passes? I'm going to be doing a LOT of business-related traveling this summer and if I visit parks it's going to be on a day or less notice. I've already got definite plans for visits to at least 3 CF parks and 2 Six Flags parks before I start my traveling, but when I'm on the road I'd like to hit as many parks as possible. I'd like to buy any chain-wide season passes I can, especially for parks that I'm likely to be going near. That way if I've only got a few hours to spare, I can visit without cringing at paying for admission.

The only other chains there are in the US are Busch, Universal, and Disney.
I believe Busch offers a pass for both their parks, but I don't think Universal or Disney have any multiple park season passes, except if they're in the same state.

I'll have to investigate the Busch passes for cost and how many parks they include. The Busch/SeaWorld chain skipped my mind completely. See, this is why I asked! I don't know how often, if at all, that I'll be in Florida. The company I'll be traveling with is based out of Arkansas and does a lot of mid-west, mid-south and deep-south, so I think I'll be getting good use of the Six Flags pass.

Wow, and I thought Six Flags had a big variation in season pass prices. If you buy a 9-park SeaWorld/Busch Gardens pass at SeaWorld San Antonio, it's $199 for two years. The same pass at SeaWorld Orlando is $429. San Diego falls in the middle at $269 for two years. Busch Gardens does not offer the 9-park passes. The passes sold at SeaWorld include admission to 3 SeaWorld parks, 2 Busch Gardens Parks and a handful of water parks and other attarctions, as well as including free parking at all parks and other discounts.

So, I think if I pass through San Antonio, I'll be hitting them up for a 9-park pass. Especially seeing as it's only $40 more than a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass and is good for two years instead of one!

I can't find it on BGE's website. The only ones I can find are "two park" passes. I didn't look at BGA's site because I doubt I will be in Tampa any time soon, but I know I'll be near Williamsburg.

Edit: Dur, there it is. It wasn't where it was on all the other park websites, so I completely overlooked it. $299 for 2 years at BGE. So it's a matter of which park I go to first, I guess, San Antonio or BGE.

Herschend's parks offer some perks with their individual park season passes- I know with a Gold Pass at Dollywood, you get 50% off admission at Silver Dollar City, Wild Adventures and Stone Mountain Park as well as their affiliated waterparks.

Parc Management allowed fee interpark admission for theme park season pass holders last season. I am unsure if they will continue in 2009.

In the Northeast I don't think I'll ever have more than two season passes. CF passes would be more of a rarity for me to acquire again than the SF one. My SF pass I just have to upgrade to parking this spring. There is a good deal for my local Clementon Park though. If I miraculous go to both Carowinds and Kings Island this year I may consider a CF pass. Notice I did not say Dorney. I would not care to return so soon with Laser gone and just Snoopy on Ice coming in.

I would go to San Antonio Sea World first...$199 sounds better than $299, all day, every day.

It'll depend on where I go first, honestly. BGE is about 1 hour from my brother's apartment, San Antonio will be a luck of the draw on if I'll be in the area. Given the choice between the two, I'd jump on a pass from San Antonio in a heartbeat. I'll only be traveling from late May through mid August this summer, so I don't know where in the country I'll be during that time, but I do know that I will be spending at least two weeks in Virginia in September when my sister-in-law's baby is due so I definitely want a pass! The fact they're on rolling expiration dates is perfect, so I can buy it whenever I'm near one of those two parks. The only thing that's crappy is if I get into Florida without having gotten a pass already, I'll miss out on the parks there or have to pay full price. We'll see. There are plenty of things to entertain me in Florida with all that perfect scuba water available.

Next summer there will be more control over where I'm going and I'll be on the road more of the year, most likely. So if I miss out on any parks this summer, I may go for them next summer. I'm hoping to add immensley to my wimpy coaster count of 44 right now by the time this park season is over.

I'm truly surprised of the 44. I was expecting at least a 100 out of you in generally getting to see you here. Best wishes for a good run this year.

I've never really had a chance to travel strictly to go to amusement parks. So while I've been in the vicinity of many, I've never been able to actually go to them. If I'm traveling only with my husband, we'll make the minor detour (which is how I got to add SFOG to my list) but it's rare that we travel alone.

The worst possible torture was going to the Gurnee Mall and having to stare at SFGAm the whole time, knowing that the group I was with wouldn't give me the opportunity to go. I've also driven past SFKK so many times I can't count it when traveling between Memphis and Ohio and had to drive past the turn off for Busch Gardens Africa.

My husband just became an OTR truck driver and I'll be able to ride with him starting in late May. We've talked about how badly I've been wanting to do coaster traveling, and we've already decided that we're going to do everything we can to get at least me to every park we come near. If he stops for his sleep time during the day he's going to try to get me near a park, I'll rent a car for the day to take me there while he takes his DOT required sleep time. Which is why I would like to have the multiple-park passes, so that the only expense I'm putting out is my personal transportation to the park.

Seems like Kennywood and the other parks they own have some sort of deal, or multi park pass.

What other parks do they own? I didn't realize Kennywood had other parks.

.: Parques Reunidos : . This is the owner of Kennywood. They have not said if they are offering season passes this year or not. Nothing has been said by the company nor any of the PR reps at the park. Best bet is to email them.

Lake Compounce, Sandcastle and Idlewild are owned by KW properties (before the sale) and they have season passes. If you get one to any of those parks, you get a discount into KW I believe.

Boy that website was a nice workout for my rusty Spanish! I'm still trying to see if I can figure out where the 'tickets' information is on it. I'm trying to resist clicking on the English translation just to see if I can do it in Spanish.

KW also bought Story Land in NH a year before they sold. Parques also Owns Palace Entertainment which runs a number of FEC's and water parks. There was mention at Nor Easter about talks of a malty park deal that could combine LC, Story Land in Glen NH, and Water Country in Portsmouth NH.
