Hello all. I am pleased to report Conneaut Lake Park is reopened for the 2009 season. The Blue Streak is still closed though. Thi sweekend was a sucsses and you can look forward to much more this summer. If you have any questions about the park or anything relating to it feel free to post it here and I will try to answer any question.

Here's probably the number one question. Will Blue Streak open this year, and if not, in future years?

It will most likely open in 2010. The park needs to make some money before they open it back up. It has been sitting idle for almost three years, so it will need a bit of money to put it back in running shape.

I read a news report saying they pulled in 25,000 opening weekend. Not too bad. I'm thrilled to see it reopened. The Blue Streak from what I have heard should be ready for 2010. I hope some one will post a trip report soon. I'm interested in seeing how the park looks.

With any luck I will be able to plan a trip out to PA next year and hing CLP.

^ Yes the Little Dipper is open. Most of the other rides should be reopened soon.

Well, it sounds pretty good to me. So only the Little Dipper is open at the moment and the others are opening soon? I'm glad Blue Streak is staying because of its history.
